I feel it's more of a loss to vote broly or cooler solely because I think tamashii isn't gonna make them anytime soon no matter how hard we scream. They seem completely unmarketable in Japan from what Pwn's updates stated and they're also quite literally huge risks.

I think it's unfair to restrict voting options before hand, but I for one think you're better off voting for a character that actually has a likelyhood of getting made...

That has got to be a reason why they're doing those manga releases. I think I've been underestimating the Japanese influence for the line. They keep coming out with new manga book releases all the time. They just announced a full colored release of the Saiyan and Frieza saga, and I thought they just came out with another release.

Oh I'm not complaining! I just saw the news today! I want it too. Bardock and Frieza was just announced for the J All Stars video game, which has been exclusive in Japan. If he's considered a big star, I would think he's really popular in Japan.

I too shall join the Bardock bandwagon; I love the plot twist that let him see the future, it was an awesome plot device!

It's weird with the Android Twins because they were actually shown at SDCC, but no info was given, unlike Krillin. They were also absent at NYCC too

Bardock would be cool though, not gonna lie. I think for now though, we should get the characters who appeared in the anime (at least regularly) and then the movie ones.

I didn't really care for Bardock being Super Saiyan, but I'm glad to hear you guys like it. I liked the idea of it being a complete legend that the Saiyans would use as a motivational tool. Although, I don't know how I feel anymore because of the SSJ God form. I'm going with whatever is true to Toriyama's work, so if it is then I have no problem accepting it. I have to keep researching! Now I have another reason to get the manga!

Some stores say october, some november, hard to say. I won't be getting Krillin (anytime soon). Kinda made myself choose between him and Frieza and the latter won, being more essential for me.

thats because some gets released at the end of the month so therefore it appears to be "delayed"

To me, making Bardock the origins of the legend actually was a big deal, as it meant Goku was decended from said legend directly.

It also has the implication that bardock is possibly the first saiyan and therefore most important saiyan in history.

I am willing to bet that the so called first god saiyan was indeed bardock, rising up against the corruption he had already witnessed in his time.

went back in time(a black hole? wormhole? I'm just trying to find a reason), the concept of his frustration, rage and sense of justice triggering his Super Saiyan form was a really good parallel to Goku's, being kinda like the legend.

As for the Super Saiyan God.... it does say that he was a very powerful Saiyan who rose to provide order, and then his power suddenly faded.... wow, it makes sense that it could be Bardock!! Although I'm more sure that it would chronicle his "back in time" adventures...

Edit: Sorry KPman. Wasn't thinking on that one. I don't think they can dub Battle of Gods though...

Bardocks story i doubt will have a dubbed version seeing how the other special "yo! Son goku and friends" still has no dubbed version, battle of gods is diff tho it was an actual movie they will deff make a dubbed version for it

I think we may be a bit backed up before we'll get a dub, if we do... There's Dragonball Z Kai, if they're going to dub the Buu Saga, and if Dragonball Z: Battle of Z gets an english release we can bet on hearing some re-recorded lines there.
Right now we've seen or heard nothing indicating a dub.
