Despite that, marking spoilers would still be appreciated.

Edit: Saw you just marked them in the old post. Thanks!

Actually, didnt funimation already state they were working on an english dub for battle of gods? The only thing is it would be next year before completion.

I hope that doesn't happen and it's a happy coincidence. Everyone has to have a starting point. Hopefully, they start posting here.

Best case scenario? Migrants from the other board. Although given Ox King's popularity on their poll, I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten a vote yet :lol

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who's contributed to this forum - I discovered this line back in May this year and this forum has been a brilliant source of info on these figures - I finally got round to registering to voice my vote on the poll. I started reading this forum on page 1 back in May and read every page until i was up to date - this did work against me as I bought manga Piccolo worrying that his price would sky rocket, only to catch up to date with the forum and see the SDCC repaint had been announced - D'OH!

I'm relatively new to DBZ having only really seen it sporadically when it was shown in the UK back in the early 2000's (I didn't have Sky) and I only really got to know it properly once the DVD's were released, although I knew all the characters thanks to the brilliant Budokai 3 game for PS2. I've been getting the orange brick versions of the DVD's this year and haven't been disappionted - LOVE the series! - especially 1-6 with the android/cell saga's being my particular favorite. Also thanks to all who recommended Team 4 stars version of DBZ - absolutely brilliant!

The first figure I got was Cell (favourite character aside from Vegeta) and I didn't intend on getting any more until I received him and was blown away! I was then bitten HEAVILY by the bug for these figures. I now have every one of them aside from manga Gohan, SDCC Goku, and SSJ Vegeta - who I want DESPERATELY but cannot justify the amount he's going for :(

I've just voted for Majin Vegeta and post time chamber Trunks in the poll. Honestly I would probably have gone with Frieza, second form and Android 16, but I felt that would be a wasted vote due to their size - was a bit bummed that nappa looks unlikely now.... It's a shame as 16 could come with a damaged, loose head which I'd love to pose with Gohan and Cell for the bit where Cell stamps on it and unleashes Gohan's power.

I'd also really like to see 17 & 18, but I honestly will buy pretty much any figure that they bring out as they make me smile every time I look up at my shelf and I don't collect too many other figures.

The figure I most want is a SSJ Vegeta re release, and I honestly think that due to release of Saiyan saga Vegeta that he'd sell very well. There's a lot more people aware of this line now and I myself would buy at least 2, if not 3 of him so that I could have a SSJ Vegeta, Normal Cell saga Vegeta and armored Trunks (that is if he doesn't get his own version). Vegeta seems second in popularity only to Goku and it's his most iconic look, so I really think that it would be a good idea for Tamashii to re release him - it would get more people hooked, as once you start with one figure it tends to snowball, at least in my experience with these lol.

^welcome to the board! I only intended to get one figure in this line initially too, picking up SS Vegeta when he was originally released. However, since then I've picked up Cell, Frieza, regular vegeta, and SS Goku. These figures are really awesome and got me hooked.

Awesome! Welcome man! Hey, you have seniority on me! I just watched it for the first time this year. I and a lot of other people feel you. I'm hoping for a re-release as well, and agree that it would be very helpful, now that more people are discovering the line.

Being that Goku is the most popular and Vegeta is his rival throughout, I would think people would want every look to match each other. I think when it comes to video games, most people jump to playing either Goku and Vegeta for versus battles. I didn't become a big Vegeta fan until the Buu Saga. I liked him, but I found him to be a bit of a doofus in the Cell Saga. If it wasn't for Dragon Ball making Goku my favorite character, the whole Vegeta arc in the Buu saga might have made him my favorite DBZ character.

Welcome!
Oh man, I remember back at the VERY BEGINNING of this line, I was like "Ok, just Goku and Gohan. Then I'll stop."
Then they announced new people and the designs started getting more and more awesome. I just couldn't stop. I mean, once Trunks came, I was blown away-he's definitely the poster figure for this line, as he is among the best of them by far, being a near-complete iteration release of a fan-favorite.

you're deffinitely not alone in those cases. welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Honestly I RARELY ever feel the need or desire to comment on forums or topics on the internet, as there is always such a lot of people causing trouble, being unnecessarily negative or posting idiotic comments that I simply don't bother with it.

This forum just seems to be full of people who are simply passionate about collecting figures and discussing DBZ, which is what I'm interested in. It's been really handy picking up tips like using the nail varnish to tighten up loose joints - both my scouter Vegeta's legs were pretty bad, but now perfect! - also my sdcc Gohan had a loose arm and was sorted this way :))

On this topic did anyone else find Cell's arms nearly impossible to remove to fit the crossed arms? Both he and manga Piccolo were border line 'gonna break the figure' to achieve this - so much so that once I fitted the crossed arms to Cell I never removed them again and ended up getting another one so I could pose him. Manga Piccolo was the same but interestingly when I got my SDCC version I found the arms really easy to pop off, so maybe they picked up on that and altered it a little.....

The best way I found was to swivel and pull at the same time, just pulling isnt enough force and bending it just asks for disaster.

I dont know about anyone else but I put just a tiny amount of vegetable oil on the peg, makes it easier to pop off. If people arent aware cooking oil used in small amounts is good for making joints loose.

I had a problem with manga Goku and more recently ninja storm red from PR where the leg and arm joints were tight to the point of almost breaking, and was told to put that oil on it, fixed it completely.

Sorry for going off on a tangent there but just thought I would add it in lol.

Welcome to the forum!

^That's a good tip - to be honest I don't mind it too much as it gave me an excuse to get another Cell - If they weren't so expensive I'd probably get 2 of each, as I love having them in different poses with the different faces/arms etc. although I know having two of the same figure in the same display isn't everyone's cup of tea.... If I had more shelf space I'd probably separate my duplicate figures from my main display, but at the moment I'm very happy with it.

+1 on Trunks - I got him pretty recently (from an American seller on Amazon UK). He cost me about £80 including shipping, but I was lucky and didn't get charged any more in customs tax. I'm glad I got him when I did as he seems to be slowly going the way of SSJ Vegeta price-wise.... he's probably my favorite figure aside from Cell and normal Vegeta. I think the SDCC Picollo takes some beating too - really nice! I actually quite like having both the manga and anime versions, as I can have one set up with the cape and crossed arms (manga version) and the other in the special beam canon pose. I'd love another SDCC Gohan for this reason but he's too expensive now.... the price of joining the line late.

BTW for anyone in the UK there is a seller on Amazon who sells the Tamashii stage packs - They're in France but not too expensive and I've ordered from them a few times with no issues. I really love having these for the earlier Figuarts that didn't come with them, I think they add a lot.

Still surprises me how few people realise that soft plastic becomes really pliable when you heat it up; blowdryer on hottest setting for 30 secs is all you need.

Yeah, with that method im just afraid I will do it wrong and the plastic will warp permanently. I tend to keep away from heat when it comes to plastic lol.
