Oh I want that one to Big Deano, but I was referring to this epilogue:

I still don't really understand why they changed his pants from dark green to bright orange from Z Epilogue to GT. Personally I liked the dark green better.

But yeah, I really wish they'd release figures more often. I absolutely hate waiting years just for a single character. When was Normal Goku first revealed? 2010? That's just plain ridiculous to me.

At this rate we probably won't see Android 18 until late summer or fall. And God willing they decide to release 17 along with her; it just wouldn't make any sense to release him a year or 2 later. But according to their long release schedule, if we're lucky, we might get Nappa late 2015/early 2016, and Shenron in Summer 2017. But not before they release color variants/repaints of pre-existing characters, of course.

As for other possible Figuarts they could tease us until then? I wouldn't be surprised to see Raditz, Buu, Yamcha/Tien, or even Bills (that would make the most sense, given how recent and popular Battle of Gods is). Maybe even Adult Gohan or Broly (didn't they hint at Broly as a possibility already?) Not holding my breath for any movie or less-popular characters.. unless they're planning those for the Figuarts Zero line.

I agree. I really like the green. I love the epilogue. People got upset, but I think it was in character for Goku. He told his family he would visit them, he just realized his sons weren't going in for the hero business. Goku was very fortunate to have a wife like Chi Chi, but she should have known what she was in for when she married him. He told her when he thought marriage was a type of food. That's why I loved the episode they set up right before that epilogue because, it showed so much of why he's my favorite character. His options were either go to a party or defend a baby so it could hatch. He doesn't understand all the repercussions, but he has a great heart.

Guys someone on the facebook page just made me realise that they're labeling this hint figuarts, not d-arts. That's kinda typical imo... You'd expect mario n co to be under d-arts... Could just be careless of them but, it could also mean it's not exactly wht we might think now. It could also turn out to be zero figures (as all zero figures are figuarts aren't they?). We might be jumping the gun here. (In the wrong thread. )

With ya crisis. And kid goku in a smash bros game seems impossible, doesn't playstation own the db rights for vg's?

Also I just utterly freaked out at Goku's entrance in the piccolo jr saga, soooo awesome to hear his adult voice for the first time!

Still just want goku's saiyan/namek outfit (with bag of sensu beans). Still is the quintessential look for the main character imo.

"Just want", so you're not going to get the upcoming figure anymore? I really want a Saiyan/Namek saga version too. As well as a battle damaged one to go with Frieza. If I could only have one Goku, I'd want his Namek saga appearance.

Oh I PO'ed like a week ago. Just in case. It might not be the most iconic nor preffered paint ap for me, but I won't run the risk having no Goku at all. I might still even buy two, as I need two in terms of setups. Goku will always resell if they release the one I want later on. I can't see them retooling it for sdcc14's ex, although that'd be great.

I understand. That's how I am with these releases. That's why I got the Saiyan Saga Vegeta, despite my definitive being the Boo saga. I only really wanted his Namek and Boo Saga looks. Same with Gohan. It's my least favorite saga with him. Actually same with Cell and Krillin. I would rather have had Cell's Imperfect form and Krillin's Saiyan saga look. I was really bummed out with Cell. I loved how they set him up to be a horror like character, but then it went to repeat mode with the Cell games. Although I'm glad I got the Vegeta now! The Cell arc is my least favorite arc of DBZ.

For people who want Goku in smash broa, you do realize it is impossible because he didn't originate in a video game unlike everyone else right?

I'd like it too but it won't happen. I'm still wondering on what we'll see from the rest of figuarts like Sailor Jupiter and injustice what with so much from them

So does anybody think there will ever be a line of figures that are somehow superior to these Figuarts we have? In terms of articulation, scale, look, etc. Or do you think we've seen the pinnacle of DBZ figures, these are the best we're ever gonna get? lol..

As long as the franchise is popular, things will get better! I wish I got into this franchise sooner, so I could have gotten the medicom figures. Although, people here were saying they had rotting problems. I hope we can get something like that later on, but I would only get a couple, because of how big they are. My main focus is around the 6 inch scale. You can thank the Toy Biz Marvel Legends for that!

I think there's room for improvement, but I think that room is definitely within tamashii's grasp, so if they keep continuing to improve the shf line I'm inclined to say no. I hadn't expected dbz to make a return like this at all anyway. Especially these days with so many both old and new beloved frachises, and better films and games to warrant merch, I can't see any other line on par with this one starting all over again in the future. Unless something akin to kai comes along that creates cultural momentum again, but I couldn't imagine what.

A figure I know will never be made that I really want is of Tambourine. He's the first one to bring out Goku's darker side. It was crazy seeing how innocent and carefree of a kid Goku was, switch to saying, "You killed Krillin. He was my best friend. I'm going to make you suffer" and "He took my friend Krillin's life and now I'm after his". I really like his design too! It bums me out, so many people skip out on the first half of the Dragonball story, but it's understandable, because it wasn't dubbed till after DBZ. The first tournament scenario with Krillin and Jackie Chun reminded me of the Seinfeld episode with Jerry explaining the spit trajectory to Kramer and Newman.
