It's a bummer, but it's still good for people that don't have him. I just find it odd that they chose it this year, not only because they just did it last year, but a Goku is already coming out a month ahead of time. Well, there SDCC isn't going to be a Goku then.

Everybody who collects this line has him, he has the first time release, sdcc, & a re-release, and now another re-release for no reason

Hey, I'm not asking for it and I don't want another. The only re-release I want is the SSJ Vegeta. There's been a couple of new people on here that said they don't, because they just discovered the line, so I was just trying not to be negative.

Ok, I think I see the logic in this...I believe it's to boost sales of Normal Goku for people just getting into the line. People would be able to get both normal Goku, then SSj as a combo. Newbies won't have years in-between the Goku's like we did. I'm almost ok with this because we need more people buying figures, this will increase demand for SSj Vegeta and Trunks in the long run (people who have their Goku combo will be looking for a Trunks and Vegeta like the rest of us are).

I guess we should have seen this coming because of the new Manga releasing, and a new game, promoting a new movie, everyone is looking for DBZ right now so I suppose they want their best seller to be available to everyone at a decent price. That said, I'm still floored.

Personally, I don't have Trunks or the official Vegeta so I'm a bit disappointed, but I can use this opportunity to get another SSj Goku body for a more permanent head swap with SSj3.

Guys another re issue of goku is a good thing... it means the first re issue wasn't a one time deal. Also there will always be new customers and that is the main character, im sure normal goku will be re issued just as well. I was looking for a regular ss re issued goku and they run for 60 dollars when I bought mine on amazon for 32$. One thing you guys are forgetting is that vegeta was a web exclusive! not available in Japanese stores or any stores period only on the web, and correct me if im wrong but he has been the only web exclusive, which makes him rare just like sdcc goku. so sadly he might never be released again. Lets hope im wrong!!!

Also another thing I don't think people realize is that everyone will want re issues.... They can not re issue every character, in 2 years I guarantee most of the characters to his point will be over 120$ ITs a collectors line. They cant re issue all those characters... the line will slow down even more and the re issue demand will never stop. 2 years down the road another huge wave of people jump on board and they sure as hell wont want to pay 150 for trunks and gohan, or 130 for ssj3 goku cell and frieza, 200 for picolo and so on. It just wont end..Think of it we get that vegeta and a year later people will still demand him lol.

If ive learned anything with this line is if you want the figures and multiples do not wait spend the cash asap. as soon as amazon ran out of the re issue goku he doubled in price. As soon as cell sells out he will jump up in price. I remember I picked up sdcc gohan for 36$ he was that price for months, 3 months later I went to get another one and he was 60, same with trunks I paid 40 went to buy another one he was 80$. If you are truly into this line please save up you have plenty of time in between releases to get a few figures. The best thing to do is to pre order one and then buy a second one a few weeks later as amazon usually puts them on sale.

Other toy companies don't usually do it so we should be grateful that they are doing it a second time for those who do not own them. If you missed out it happens if you really want the figure youll pay the price that's its worth to you. I bought sdcc goku 2 years ago when he was 160 and so was the original, it was my first time collecting and I didn't know what sdcc meant but I chose that one because it looked better and I couldn't stand the lines under the eyes, if I had chosen that original I would of been so pissed lol. SO im sure most of us here have spent a lot more for a figure then retail, I don't see ss vegeta at 150 bad at all since he is an exclusive. If you really want him you can save up 25$ a month and get him in 4 months.... ITs not too bad the question is.. is he worth that to you... All those people I that didn't get trunks when he was 60-70$ in august and waited now have to pay over 100$, and he will just keep going up.If you guys really want a character that's out and price is too high save for it because he might never get released and you ither wont own him or youll pay way more then you needed too, you cant just sit and wait for this line, unless you have no job, and if you got no job you cant be mad that you cant afford everything in a collectors line just my opinion. hope no one is offended.

It's worth it just for your customs Reaper! If it's making them money, I'm happy, because they might use that money for more tooling for new figures. Being that it's coming out after regular Goku, we can see if the faces fit, and if they do, then people might want to repaint them for more SSJ faces and get another SSJ Goku.

Not too excited about goku's rerelease, but maybe, although it is unlikely, that he will come with the smiling face or an extra ssj2 or some other new distinguishing factor. Even though I doubt it will happen I am personally hoping they add a separate ssj2 head because I think it needs to be represented but does not warrant it's own figure.

I'm disappointed in a rerelease ss goku. Prices for him aren't even that outrageous. A Trunks/Vegeta rerelease would have been smarter. A gohan rerelease would be great too. I may pick up another goku if hes cheap and swaping the head is simple for the ss3 and ss goku.

Those are sacrifices that need to be made my friend. If you want to collect you have to give something else up unless you are rich. I work full time, I pay rent and bills, and not only do I collect this but I collect hot toys and 1/6 figures which ive paid from 170$ to 450$ per figure. That being said ive made plenty of sacrifices. I don't really eat out, I don't buy games as much only ones I really cant pass on. MEaning I don't buy every call of duty etc. A lot of the times im calculating in my head if I spend 30$ on this it could of gone towards a new figures I want. I know not everyone makes a ton of money and some of us have way too many bills , but if that's the case maybe its not time for you to collect. I know for six scale figures when you pre order some websites let you pay like 50$ a month till you pay it off. which truly does help for those that have trouble saving up. Also for anyone tight on money but with a steady income you can get a paypal card for a figure like vegeta. buy him and you have 6 months to pay it off no interests. That way youll be paying a small monthly amount and wont feel like you have a hole through your pocket.

As I said before though, I'm cool with my choices, the thing about games and movies is that their prices decrease over time (as oppose to figures, where you must get them when they release) In the end I usually can manage the timing to get what I want. I'm severally lucky that SSj is getting a re-issue, because I was going to throw down $50 in a few weeks to get a second one (putting off Krillian for another month for me) but now I can get Krillian then SSj Goku Later.

But I agree that we could have used a re-issue of almost anyone else.

My cousin still wants to get into this line, a re-issue of SSj Goku makes it easier (although he was willing to pay 60 for him, I still say a SSj Vegeta or Trunks re-issue would have been more productive for that purpose :/ )

The DBZ fan and figure lover in me won't accept that reality
I would have had more figures if I wasn't unemployed when SSj Vegeta and Trunks were released. (the only figures I consider missing from my collection)
I got lucky with SDCC Gohan (who am I kidding, that was a Godsend!) And I worked some odd jobs to get SSj3 Goku. Things got stable for me, and I was able to get SSj Goku, then Cell soon after.

It's mostly for the EU which previously did not have a chance. U.S. will have access to this re-issue as well.

This is they put on Twitter about S.H. Figuarts SS Goku re-issued, if it is one figure that we can´t get in EU this is SDCC SS Goku because the other one we can get it when released at first time in France in 2011, then we have the last year re-issued too. The only that wasn´t re-issued in EU is SDCC SS Goku

It wont be sdcc Goku, its impossible for it to be released in any way. Its the manga version, im 100% sure of that.

Im all for everyone having a chance to get sdcc figures, but there are folks out there that would kick up **** if their £200+ exclusive figure became a normal release.

WTF? Sucks that SS Goku is taking up yet another release slot this year. This makes me think that they really don't have any figures ready after 17 and 18. If that's the case, we may not see any new figures released after the androids until some time in 2015...

I agree on ssj goku being a weird decision to re release seeing how he had that treatment last yr, but i dont think that means this line wont be progressing any slower this yr, it wasnt till last yr we started to see re releases which was ssj goku, now i believe the reasoning behind that is goku is the main character and he isnt a wrb exclusive, so regardless if someone who is brand new to the line ssj goku can be pretty much posed with any character, so it is smart in that aspect i guess but i still expect a figure in oct/nov ish like we have always been gettin pass couple years so this yr will be reg goku A. 18& most likely 17 in oct/nov plus our sdcc which now that repaints for the originals are done im curious to see what they do

I just don't get this... I live in the UK and I just bought another SSJ Goku a week ago (for ssj3 body swap) and it cost me the grand total of £36 from Amazon UK - BY FAR the cheapest that I've got any of these figures for, and almost exactly what I paid for the same figure last year when it was rereleased..... Why they think another SSJ Goku rerelease is necessary now is beyond me. I'm seriously disappointed that this years reissue is Goku again! Unless they do SSJ Vegeta as SDCC exclusive I think it's now looking extremely unlikely that it's going to happen.... I thought Tamashii would see the potential profit from rereleasing Vegeta, regardless of the web exclusive rule, but I guess not....

I know everyone really wants to see a vegeta re release but its very un likely since he is a web exclusive. Most companies never re issue any exclusives cus it defeats the purpose. Was it stupid for them to make a main character an exclusive yes.... maybe they did it to hype up the dying line.
