Sometimes posing them standing works well; I do it occasionally too, they look quite bad*** too. Once Goku gets here I think I will put them all in vs fights, Goku and Vegeta, ssj Goku and Frieza, and Cell vs Gohan and the rest.

I had gohan vs cell up for a long time. I did the final one arm pose, but without the blood and tears didn't totally work. Had them just doing dueling kamehamehas for a while facing eachother on the same figuarts stand.

I have everyone in different poses surrounding Goku fighting Cell. Krillin's cheering him on, Trunks is powering up, and Piccolo is watching of Gohan, with him getting angry watching his dad fight. Then my pose with Freeza choking out Vegeta. I haven't changed them since I got them. I want them in displays with action going on, because I can't seeing villains or Vegeta stand side by side with others, so I have to match them up in some way. Well Boo Saga Vegeta would, but hopefully I get Cell saga Vegeta and he wouldn't tolerate the low class weaklings!

Does anyone else think the yellow color of ss gokus hair looks off? I wish that had put some areas od graded color in or something. Or even made the whole thing paler like the color we see when goku decides to stay in super saiyan form during the cell saga

Ssj gokus colours are more manga than even gohan and piccolo, but his hair is correct for manga style, being a single washed out colour.

Yeah, I've said that from the beginning that I like the non aura look, because I could make it look yellow with lighting if I wanted. If they release Post Time Chamber Trunks, I would want them to color it the way they have so it fits. For the Boo saga they could use the bleach blond styling. It would be a shame if they didn't because Majin Vegeta looks so iconic with it.

If the only way to get characters that have already been released was with repaints and absolutely no new tooling which ONE would you pick? Even the yellow tips of Vegeta's boots could not be sculpted, so only painted yellow with lines. As someone who wants SSJ Vegeta, my only option is a manga repaint, so I'm going with that.

Easy for me: ssj 3 goku repaint. Color akin to manga ssj goku, but the correctly shaded hair and overall jst a tad more anime-ish shading. The manga releases are so damn bland, ugh. A shame I consider the most main recognisable character the least of those I own. I'd still buy sdcc goku if it were for his retail price.

Not me, I had an opportunity to get SDCC Goku at retail a few years ago, but I couldn't stand the candy corn hair, and the orange gi was WAY too dark for me.

Yeah, it's kind of a shame that they could do the least amount of work, but because it's Goku it won't matter, because it'll sell. I actually really like the manga Goku we got though. I haven't missed the lack of hands, but I hope we eventually get that smiling face. I think the one we're getting is just a repaint of that SSJ smiling face. If it helps any, he looked just like it in multiple scenes in the Cell arc, specifically when he fought 19 and Cell. Great choice with SSJ3 Goku! You know I'd buy that in a heart beat!

Having now read the manga, I really don't understand why they would have gone for those colors. Besides being mostly black and white, whenever they were colored, they were never consistent. Bulma had purple, blue, and red hair, and Piccolo for the majority was gray. Sometimes they were just partially colored and in the next page they would be totally different colors. Toriyama even changed some names to match the show, so I'd think the definitive way to go is with the anime colors. It's strange. By the way my opinions of how I rank the arcs was different from the show.
