Microsoft isnt that bad! Well ok, maybe they are, but being an xbox player I feel obligated to defend them lol.

Oh and Bane, believe it or not, but the sentai/pr figuarts usually always struggle to sell, its only the mighty morphin set that has been selling well, usually they end up really cheap quite quickly, like around £20.

Finally, I dont see the link as being evil or anything like that, but I have always viewed them as spam. That being said, as long as it is genuinely meant to help and you dont start making posts specifically about it, I will be fine with it.

Hey Atamsk! Welcome back.

1: that one is 12epea12's hell respond when he can.
2: tamashi representatives have let on in interviews that they are, for now, off the table.
3: i don't GT, I expect if at all expansive, dragonball. The line is still based mostly on japanese popularity (this is confirmed), and gt didnt do well there I though. I don't expect non main chars within a few years.
4: i like the thread as is, with exception of the bootleg stuff as Ive defended before...

Hey, welcome back! What was your old name on here, some of us may remember you?

I will add to the GT answer Silrian gave and say that they may never got that route now that the whole of GT is now non canon thanks to BoG, as much as I want a ssj4 Goku I dont see it ever happening.

Thanks so much @Silrian and @BigDeano!! My old username is zofnok, btw.

It's a bummer about the Nappa and Shenron figures -.- I'm still hoping they change their minds on Nappa. Also, I loved GT! I know people don't consider it cannon, but it was an amazing adventure of Goku and his friends through space! I loved every part of GT. Especially the main villains, 17, Omega, and Baby.

I know that BOG may negate the GT series, but I'm hoping it doesn't. There's also that movie, '100 years later' which is basically a continuation of GT. Not to mention the GT colored manga that's being released in Japan soon. I'll remain optimistic when it comes to GT, I think there's hope for it :D

Thanks again!

I wanted to share these with you all, they're made by a flicker user named Budokai, who has seemingly vanished from all space and time.
A perfect Frieza figure.

sigh...

The GT figures are amazing

Welcome back sir! I've warmed up a lot to GT. I still haven't watched it fully, because I don't enjoy a lot of the early stuff, well and the later stuff. I'm mixed! I really don't think Battle of Gods negates it. Whatever is in the manga is the canon story and GT isn't part of his story, but it doesn't have to negate it from the anime's canon. GT is just a side story, so if you were hungry for more, great, if not, it's a continuation, so you can stop where you like. My favorite arc in the anime, is the Boo arc, and stuff that was not canon to Toriyama's work, made it my favorite arc. In the manga, the Boo arc is my least favorite arc in all of Dragon Ball and my Cell arc is my favorite, so I'd rather stick with Toei's work! In the manga, some of my favorite scenes like the whole Saiyaman saga, Goku meeting Goten, Goten and Trunks hijinks during the tournament, Majin Vegeta vs Goku, Mystic Gohan vs Super Boo, and scenes with Vegeto, epilogue with Goku spending time with his family and Pan were so short, that they have little impact. I'm gone on here saying how much I love the the fat Boo, and the various Piccolo fused forms of Boo, but in the manga, everything I liked about them is absent. The epic Spirit Ball scene of all the Z warriors trying to get Earth's people to help, and them tragically ignoring their pleas, is also absent! The only fight that is that is as long as it is in the anime is with Gotenks, and I don't like him, so it bored me. I still loved a lot of it and it does a lot of things better than the anime, like Piccolo basically being the coolest in the manga, but it's my least favorite. Luckily KAI keeps a lot of filler in and it's a great hybrid of the japanese and english anime, with Goku much more likeable, so I'm still looking forward to it. So just go with what you love! I personally like the Funimation dub for the Goku, Red Ribbon army arcs best, the original Japanese for the Piccolo arc, the manga for the Saiyan arc, the English KAI for the Freeza arc, the manga for the Cell arc, the Funimation dub for the Boo arc, and the Japanese for GT, so I'm all over the place! I'm glad GT exists and I love SSJ4 Goku and would buy a figuarts version no question!

And guys, when we had are GT discussion, I should have brought up Bebi, because he is a great villain! If anyone argued him being the best, I could not disagree. Great back story being a Tsufrian, had a full mystery and twist behind who was pulling the strings with the whole cult organization to power him with their souls, awesome switcharoo with him being the one to be using Dr. Myu, a personal relationship with the heroes, turned all their friends and family against them, brought out an evil scientist Bulma, used the Dragonballs to create another planet, came very close to completing his goal to re-create Planet Plant, and if it wasn't for Piccolo sacrificing himself so Goku could use his instant transformation, he would have killed Goku and many of the humans left behind.

Freeza is my favorite, but I got to give Bebi props! If it wasn't for the surrounding stuff, he might be my second favorite villain.

Ahh, thanks a lot Epai! You did an amazing job with the Frieza figure!

@Baneofdemon *virtual fist bump!* It's so rare to find someone who doesn't hate GT! Honestly, I love GT! I enjoy it more than Dragonball z. GT has a unique style, and animation, coloring, it's great. It has a darker feel than DBZ, overall, and there's a greater sense of danger in the show because for the first time, they aren't able to rely on the dragonballs to bring people back to life, and this is the case for most of the series. I just find GT to be more exciting. I loved Z as a kid, but I hated the multiple episodes of powering up, transforming, or charging an energy attack... Basically all of the cliches that people poke fun at in DBZ, are non existent in GT. My only gripe with GT is that they made everyone a side character, the Z fighters are virtually no more, with Vegeta being the only one capable of fighting side by side with Goku; but that seemed to be the direction that DBZ was heading anyway. ;P

I haven't seen Battle of the Gods yet so no spoilers please, but could someone tell me whether Gohan has any significant part in it? Is he of any importance to the plot or not? Or anyone else besides Goku for that matter? Because honestly the Buu saga is so freaking boring to me as I find Buu abysmally uninteresting, I might abstain from collecting any post-android releases. Which would probably effectively make me quit collecting these if they start an exclusive Buu era run. If BoG doesn't offer anything interesting besides Goku fighting the main enemy, I just have zero interest in DBZ characters post-cell... A few singular good moments like Vegeta's sacrifice aren't enough for me I think. It kindof sways a bit on if there's anything interesting post-buu (and no that's not GT for me).

Silrian, I would honestly reccomendation that you skip Battle of Gods if you want something serious. It's a fun movie, but it has some BS that will probably drive you crazy. It's a very silly movie and I really enjoyed it, but I know you like a more serious experience for DBZ. I don't want to spoil anything for you, but SSJ God is basically like how Gogeta was, and the way they get to it, is ridiculous, so if it might taint your view of Z, you might want to pass. All the Saiyans gets about equal screen time, but it's not fighting. It has one of my favorite Vegeta scenes and Beerus was a great addition to the universe. I hope this isn't such a big spoiler, but Gohan is drunk throughout the movie, so that might tell you something. Like I said, I really enjoyed it though. I hope that helps! Goku actually doesn't have much screen time.

nope, not that i can recall. he's just part of the six good-hearted Saiyans that must be infused for one of them to achieve this legendary form.

hahaha yeah, this :lol

Wow, okay, that 'gohan is drunk' thing alone is indeed pretty close to enough. I'll see what the funi dub makes of it, someday, but for now, yeah think I'm gonna be spending my money on other stuff then post-cell characters. Though it's still gonna be fun to see how they turn out.

Thanks though guys.:)

Battle of Gods was a disappointment, imo. You're waiting around for everyone to get serious and it just never happens. It's unlike all of the other DBZ movies, in there is no real danger... it's more of a comedy. If Akira toriyama wasnt attached to the project, I'd even call it a DBZ parody.

It was like watching the episode where it was Gohan's birthday virtually pointless, however this hour+ long birthday had a fight scene with a new villain who actually has a decent character design and overall is cool. Honestly just look at the new character and skip the movie.

Id say BoG tried to return to its dragonball roots while still having the action that dbz is known for.

I would totally buy a Beerus Figuarts. He could come with smirk face, angry face, a ^_^ face, a "bored" face, multiple hands, 1 or 2 ki blasts, 2 different tails, a miniature plate of sushi w/ wasabi, and the Oracle Fish.

I'd get a Beerus figure, too. But something tells me that we won't be getting one until Battle of the Gods is officially dubbed and released outside of Japan
