Oh you can clearly see, the scarf in every picture is flat, except on his fighting, teeth clenching pose the bottem part is clearly windswept!

Either he has two scarfs, or they've started using a bendy material.

I planned on using Mystic Gohan for a Future Gohan stand in. This time he kicks their android butts!

Future gohan would be great, he looks different enough from Goku and regular Adult Gohan. I still hope we get the fusion characters honestly.

I just hope there won't be any joint issues or discoloration or anything. For a figure we've waited this long (when was Goku first revealed, 2011?), it'd be a shame that once we open the package & have it in our hands, his left leg is a bit loose *coughscoutervegetacough* or his arm just won't pose right, forcing us to needlessly gut the figure and manually fix it ourselves. I would HOPE that it took em this long to release it, it would be 100% GLITCH FREE. Prepare yourselves for several "hey guys my Goku's [insert common complaint here], does anybody else have the same problem?" posts, lol.

About Fusion characters, I'm 85% sure we'll see Vegeto at some point; they'd be absolutely stupid not to release him. That's a no-brainer. Sucks that we'll probably be waiting until 2016 just for a glimpse at a display.

@Sloth That's perfectly understandable! I'm down for those too! Majin Vegeta has been my most anticipated figure for a long time! Hopefully the new re-releases might help you!

My trunks head and arms were posted a few days ago by lcmtoy btw, should have it soon. Also, damn Goku for being delayed, forgot I ordered him and black mmpr together, so black wont be sent until they get Goku in -_-

I've got the Trunks head and arms on the way too. I might even get them by tomorrow. I'll post some pics/review that once it arrives.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to get replacement parts (legit or bootleg) for these anywhere? I was disassembling my bootleg Vegeta to start working on my Vegito custom and one of the joints that connect the wrist to the hand broke in 2 pieces. It definitely can't be fixed with super glue so I will need a replacement. If anyone has an extra let me know!

Final question for now, has anyone used plastic dye to paint these figures? I've read that it won't work on pre-painted surfaces but the finish on the figures is pretty flat and seems like it would absorb the dye pretty well.

Nowhere to my knowledge sells parts, but you may be able to ask some of the other customisers here, on rangerboard or at the dbforums, they may have some spares lying around.

That's what I was saying before! I have more of a Cell Game set up, but I want one for Freeza. If we get a Saiyan or Namek saga Goku, he's going right there for the Spirit Bomb scene. Although, I don't regret it, because he cost too much to buy more than one. I'd like another to put right next to Majin Vegeta for a Final Atonement scene.

I received the add'l Vegeta figures and "Custom" SS Trunks head from China today. The figures all have minor QC issues like the first one I got as I expected.

The Trunks head is something else though... It separates just like the official Trunks Figure's hair and is completely compatible with the alternate faces from the original. Impressive. The face it comes with is a copy of the stern SS face Trunks came with but it is made of hard plastic and seems to be a tad smaller all around. The legit Trunks faces actually fit the head a lot better. The head is a little loose on the bootleg Vegeta figure's body, but I haven't tried it on the legit one. The face in the pic with Vegeta is the one he came with.

So here's the pics of the Trunks head as well as a defect on one of the Chinese Vegeta heads and an unrelated shot of a custom I started. Enjoy.




Crap! I forgot about the crossed arms... they are very dark blue or maybe have too much black wash on them but they don't look the same color as the body. The paint job isn't *that* bad on them but one of them is ****ed up at the top where it connects to the shoulder. Bootlegs. Meh.
