They should just start a short DB line and chuck all the minor DBZ characters in there. Seems a win-win.

Kid Goku, final appearance Yamcha & Tien are like the saiyan saga (they can give yamcha a short hairstyle bonus head). Make Roshi or Jackie Chun and Bulma in there.

Seems a smart move to me.

Lol, Aquaman has gone super saiyin:lol

Cool, thanks. So are the SDCC figs usually only available there or will there be a way to order one, other than from scalpers?

Web shops like toyarena, bbts etc usually buy a small amount in, Amazon used to buy excess figures left over but didnt for piccolo last year, its luck tbh.

You'll definitely be able to find 'm at about the sdcc price excluding shipping. In fact the last time bluefin actually sold sdcc piccolo via their site for the sdcc price, and he stayed there quite a while.

Of course, a ssj vegeta would sell like crazy so he could be an exception. But... still though, You should be able to find him non-scalper priced. (Though obviously more expensive than a normal shf release).

I sure hope it wasn't out of spite. That's pretty sad to think they'd do that, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I think those are the only characters they would go with. I agree they should look go Saiyan saga with Tien and Yamcha, being closest to their 23rd Tournament looks. If they were willing to open a separate line up, I don't know why we wouldn't get more DBZ. Unless they make them so limited, because they think if they release so few a year, their customers are so desperate that they won't skip buying any. I don't know. If Dragon Ball Z figuarts were going to be cancelled after two figures, I don't know how well Jackie Chun would sell, I think it's an excellent choice, because he's a main player in the tournament, and works great with all the characters. It's Roshi at his most interesting and to me, his best, but I'm sure a lot of people might want his turtle look. "A Martial Artist's Life is the only life for ME! PEACE!". I love King Piccolo , but I don't think it would sell. I think the only exclusive Dragon Ball character that they'd go for is Kid Goku. What Bulma do you think would do the best?

Poor Aquaman. He doesn't get respect. I think he's awesome! They should stick with calling him King Arthur. His comic should be called, "Arthur, King of Atlantis" or something.

I still think that if they do Aquaman like man of steel he could be an absolute beast. The ocean is a sick, brutal, scary as **** place man.
I'd fear the hell out of a guy controlling all that, hell I fear the ocean as it stands.:lol There's stuff in the dark down there that'd make batman **** bricks.

Also, man I hope that august 17 release date is legit. That'd be excellent.

You guys have already moved on from the discussion regarding minor characters getting a release but I'd still like to say this.

*disregarding all logic and pessimism*

Here's a thought...a Figuarts Zero release featuring 5-7 Cell Juniors all in a unique pose...it may not be a hot seller but I'd absolutely be interested in picking up something like that, much more so than Trunks with some lightning effects.

I can agree on the cell jr figuarts zero if its like a pack of 7 like u said but iunno i always will prefer actually sh figuarts over the zeros but ya not likely for us to get that lol

The Ocean is scary! I always thought Jaws was lame. He's a shark, what do you expect? After the first girl died, it's their fault! Now what the heck is with all these fishes with human looking teeth that go straight for a guy's crotch? And they keep discovering more species of them! Just watch those nature specials, the ocean is horrifying! And Aquaman controls them all! The first time I watched Dragon Ball Z, I thought of him, being that he's lived under all that pressure in the depths of the ocean! I want to see how far he could go on the Gravity Machine! The guy rules a kingdom and protects the people on land who mock him and poison his world every second. I want a movie. I'm glad whenever I see you write something positive about Man of Steel, because I still see articles of people ripping on it. At least you can say it made a big impact. Whatever, it took so much from my favorite Superman interpretation, John Bryne's Man of Steel in 1986, so I was content.

I would like to see that more, Timone. It would be cool to have multiple Gohan's to make it look like he took them out a super speed! I don't like that Trunks. It looks like he was in the middle of a fight and that future Burrito got to him!

A seperate Dragon Ball line would be amazing, because they could charge slightly higher because the series is less popular without endangering their cash cow main franchise. Also YAMCHA for god's sake he deserves a proper figure treatment already!
The Cell Juniors in Figuarts Zero would be pretty cool probably, as long as they kept it in scale to the articulated releases. They can do that, Sigma from the Megaman X line was released as Figuarts Zero because he is too huge compared to the other characters to have proper working joints.

Figuarts Zero Cell Jrs would be awesome especially if they made them in a two or 3 pack each in a different pose maybe even a Cell Games Tournament stage base as an accessory.... I'd buy that.

Looking good! I see he comes with swishing hair, like 18, and that the holster-belt is removable. Faces seem to be smirking, black, and gritted teeth, which is basically what you'd expect. I love the molding of his shoelaces and jeans. Interesting that he seems to come with flat hands and "martial arts" hands ala Krillin:
martial arts hands.jpg I'm exited for him!
