Wow, that looks awesome! Definitely how I imagined a late 90's DBZ arcade game developed by Capcom would've looked like! Only suggestion I have is that the backgrounds could use a lil bit more polishing, otherwise the framework & techniques are superb.

It's a very well done mod for M.U.G.E.N. with DBZ characters. For those who don't know, M.U.G.E.N. is a fighting game engine for PC and it's based on/built from the old Marvel vs Street Fighter type games. So it's like Marvel vs Capcom but with whatever characters you put in the game yourself. Lots of spriting and programming involved. Very cool stuff though. This has to be one of the best ones I've seen. They are usually just re-sprited Street Fighter chars, but these guys went waaaaay above and beyond that. Nice find. It's too bad they only have 3 characters finished atm....

I'm playing it right now.
It's like a old school 2d fighter on steroids. I use to sprite for mugen chars, before I started doing 3d animation so I'm familiar with the engine.

If you're not use to mixing combination motion commands with normal combos, this might be hard at first. The AI is crazy good. The commands for the moves can be edited to simpler inputs if you know what you're doing (or if you skim through the docs)

Most of what you see in the trailer hasn't made it to the demo they have out (link to the demo is in the description of the video) But combat wise, everything in the video you can do in the demo as well.

local vs. by the way :)

Awesome! I would be terrible at it, but I would buy that if it came out for ps3 or ps4! I think the voices are fantastic! Thanks for posting!

Now if that had say, the graphics of the budokai series it would possibly be the perfect fighting dbz game out there; the 2d sprite style, although really nice, is a put off for me, being so dated. On a handheld like the 3ds though, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

My scoutsr Vegeta took about a 10 foot tumble, hit some stairs then the floor and I'm happy to say he survived without really a scratch. Scouter flew off but undaged. Waist, a leg, arms and two waist armor flaps went flying and all are fine. These things are sturdy :)
