Hey great suggestions Philosopher, thanks! It'd be great if the dyeing thing could work so easily. Though it does seem tricky with covering the other parts.

What I'm also worried about is that it's a one-two punch thing where you'll have to paint the blue too, otherwise the blue will be way too light.

I don't know I'll see when it gets here. Although I've said and still think it's effed up to continue anime exclusive repaints, I will say given the circumstances I won't complain if a different version of this figure is an sdcc exclusive at one point. Whether it's anime, or kaioken or god or whatever. This was literally a retarded release.

Wow, you hit the jackpot Fan! Awesome, kudos! Some great pictures in there.

How funny is it that sdcc ssj Goku has a slightely darker orange than normal Goku. Like, dagenuinefaq? Also, look at those effect beams man. Look at it. Why the hell aren't they larger!? Size does matter. This is SUCH a rushed release man, its just ridiculous.

I do like the beam paintwork more, but the ball itself looks a little too opaque.

You know what? I bet they didn't make any new faces at all, they didn't retool or change a single thing, I bet they had all of these in proto already and just through the bloody thing into production with a cheaper effect part. We've seen 3 of the five faces before.

Like ugh, okay for all you guys' sake I will (try) to shut up now, sorry about spamming my opinion, but I'm am HELLA disappointed by this entire release. It lacks essential faces, the colours don't match, the effect part is unnecessarily small. At least it makes him cheap. Literally and figuratively.

If those are your pics fan, would you mind taking a pic of the backs of the faces? Or even try fitting the faces on ssj Goku? I really want to try painting that smiling face for ssj, but dont want to buy another figure if they dont fit.

I haven´t got Goku yet. But the faces can be change it with SS Goku because the smiling face is the same they do for SS Goku as you can see in my avatar, I´m sure 100% the face has the same proportions as the others Gokus SS faces

Yeah, I know the expression is the same (thats why I want to paint it ), but theres still a chance the pegs are different that attach to the hair. Thanks anyway man!

Seriously... Somebody explain this to me. My brain cannot fathom this. It's bizarre to me, it really is. It's like building three different bicycles and all of them lack the left steer handle. It's like, wut!?

I really like the design Crisis. It makes sense to me tying back to the red coloring of Kaioken. I don't think I'd buy one though, because it would be too much money too spend on just something from a movie. I want Saiyan saga, Namek Battle damaged, and SSJ2 Goku. Kaioken Goku would be really cool, but you would have to color the whole body, so you couldn't head swap. Either way, I'm looking forward to what people do!

Hah, an ultimate muscle figure? I didnt even know that existed. Shame its figma/revoltech though; could have easily turned that body into a shirtless Goku permanently, but the pegs will likely be different.

Oddly enough, maybe it's the blue that's more off than the orange is now that I look at it. His upper gi changes shade a lot, in the anime itself too, but it's the blue that's always dark, even as a super saiyan.

I might just try painting the blue darker.

It will always baffle me why they didn't release Goku's smile face, seriously what did they have to lose by including it with everything else? It's almost as if they personally made it for themselves, their own private collections & the public (us) just aren't allowed to have it. Gotta love the subtle trolling.
