I think it's because sailor moon was simply never aired here, so I only caught ads of it in DBZ magazines and was like dafaq IS that? Same with Yu-Gi, but that show did make it here a little later. Wouldn't have liked sailor moon anyway as a kid, I was a stereotypical boy I disliked everything girly. Except the PPG, cause..you know, CN cartoons ruled back then.

Btw (@Bane) yesterday I found out Gogeta wasn't made by Toriyama at all. Fusion reborn made a goku vegeta fusion before toriyama could. So he invented a new way of doing it with the Potara to still be able to create the character for his own. Vegito is Toriyama's fusion for goku and vegeta. So Vegito ftw.

No way I would buy either of these repaints. Now, if they released some galick gun and kaio-ken effectparts in purple and red, I would probably buy those.

What I was thinking was 2 SSJ3 Goku purple and red effect parts, 2 charging Kamehameha purple and red effect parts, then 2 new individually sculpted Galick Gun and Kamehameha effect parts just for the set as a separate pack so people and choose to get it based on their individual situation (ie someone doesn't have space for the effects so they don't but the effects pack or someone can't afford it with the effects)

I2eapeI2's Tien is still really good. And the statues look cool but it's not my bag to combine them that way. But I can see why one digs it.

Oh yeah I actually did miss that, that sounds rad dude! Good idea to make scene-dedicated effects packages! Or at least effect parts packages that are a combined whole. That's a very good idea actually. Very Tamashii-like. I can see them doing that. Might be good if they included two base stands with that as well.

Wait, the flying fridge? Gogeta was invented before Vegito!? Ugh, everything after Cell is such a MESS. I agree that goten and trunks getting to ssj is ridiculous and cheapens out the concept massively. And I also agree that ssj3 is ********. It's just that the transformation is so damn awesome, otherwise I'd ignore it as much as ssj4. I'm gonna look into this cause now I wanna know how this whole thing went.

The Buu arc is one helluva mess now that I look at it from a different perspective. Too fragmented, too noisy. But SSJ3 and Vegito was the highlight of it all and I can care less about everything else.

That is your personal opinion, opinion made of ignorance, don't judge a book by his cover. Sailor Moon has great story behind. It can be funny, serious and sad in the same time. Pretty epic stuff.

Even without that revelation, I liked Vegito more cuz he actually looked like a fusion of the two, while Gogeta was just like Goku in a different outfit.

Sorry, I was being confusing! I'm pretty sure when Gotenks was introduced a lot of people watching the show or reading the manga thought of Gogeta though. Just like video games having SSJ3 Vegeta and SSJ3 Broly. Toriyama created the template. The only thing we don't know is what would Goku and Gohan's name be if they fused?

I like Vegito's design, since it feels like a true fusion.

I think if Gogeta hadn't been made we'd have had Vegito in Gogeta-esque clothing and we'd never have had the earrings concept. That's seems to be in the line of feasible assumptions.

I think U Gohan, M Vegeta, ssj2 Goku, Vegito and Videl are the only five characters from the post-cell period I will buy in SHF form. With Gotenks as a minor option if he's not too expensive and I have money left.

On a super nerdy side note: I once thought of the idea of a crossover between Avengers, JLA and DBZ, where each group rotates through to fight the villains of the other.

Can you imagine the Z fighters vs Darkseid? Avengers vs Frieza, Cell and Buu? That'd be so cool to me.
