I keep forgetting how impressive that Nappa figure is. My only negative critique about that figure was his knee shape, and the limited range of motion of his upper legs. But even as he is in that prototype, I would still get him.
I can see that happening, would still be really tall (about a halve a head taller than piccolo)
We're talking about a new sculpt down the line, Black hair would be possible seeing the demand for LSSj, and that you would have all forms of Broly if they also made the smaller body and gave him extra hair accessories.
Black hair would not happen only cause he's much smaller. Dont remember blue hair :/ nontheless Super excited about Broly!!!

He couldn't go full SSj because of the mind control device, so this was in between normal and SSj.

Yeah, that mind control device held him back so much, I believe the blue hair represented that by sort-of pausing the transition between black to platinum blond (almost like a false SSj, like what goku did in the "Lord Slug" movie).
