Yeah, as much as I would love saiyan saga Gohan, he would jsut be too small....
 
Kind of surprised and disappointed that Piccolo isn't coming with the Special Beam Canon. Why tease it if you're not gonna release it?

thats just how they roll man. they do that alot with pretty much every line. but dont give up hope. they might pull a "dbz effect parts set" on us some time in the future. :1-1:
 
I dont know why some of you got disappointed at the lack of the beam cannon part; if you would have taken a look at previous exclusives they have always just be repaints in almost identical packaging to the original, Piccolo was no exception to that rule.

Maybe in future you may not want to get your hopes up about things like that, then you wont get disappointed!
 
yeah youre right about not getting your hopes up.

BUT

surely they know about the demand for the special effects parts??

so they should either preview an effects part pack at SDCC to say '' yeah ok, we heard you, its coming!'' or they should do an effects parts exclusive alongside the Piccolo release for like $10 or something.

i think as consumers the more we expect and the more noise we make the more we should / will get.

i mean we are getting effects and stands as standard ( cell, Vegeta,Frieza, Krillin etc.) so they really need to sort us out for the old releases!!


BTW

when are we excpecting Frieza???

Just because something has happened in the past doesn't mean it will continue to happen that way in the future. I don't think it was unreasonable to think a Piccolo repaint would come with the SBC after Tamashii kept showing it with him at shows and even in a magazine.
 
Trust me, its better to be pessimistic when it comes to tamashii products; they have a habbit of showing items that never see retail.

That sort of effect part would be a major selling point, so they would definitely tease it and show it as soon as they could, they wouldnt keep that secret.

The beam cannon was only shown once, and hasnt been seen since, but if they did release it we would know about it.

My guess is that it's easier to exclude the SBC effect part because now they can just reuse the old packaging. If they wanted to include the extra effect part, they would need to manufacture different packaging just to fit that one new part.
 
Also looks like from the back packaging that you will be able to do the vegeta tail choke pose. Although I'll prob do that instead to Krillin.
