Okay decided to read the synopsis of th first five eps. What the ****. All I'm saying. Not digging it and don't see the point. Yeah, no wonder DBS has 100 eps.

it seems as per usual with this franchise, the movies never up as truly canon, if they're just gonna redo them into series form.:facepalm BoG was fine. So what, we're gonna get a superlong detour to the events of RoF?

I mean it'll probably explain stuff. Like when/why did goku and vegeta get new suits. Will vegeta finally become ssj3? Or will he just go straight to God "pure of heart my ass." Also is there a reason for vegeta getting god powers like a new enemy? Or is it just him telling the other "make me a god!". I'm kinda looking forward to this "detour".

You have two of the most sought after, if it helps. You can still get Piccolo and Gohan, but the others...that'll be a challenge. Recent ones still easy to find are Android 16 and Vegetto though.

@Shonen working toward RoF is fine for me, but redoing BoG? That's overly milking it. Whether they change how rof went or keep it the same, either way both movies feel kinda useless to me now. Except that bog reinvigorated the franchise.

Well, I saw Episode 5 yesterday and the animation was way worse when compared to Ep. 1-4.
Frames were really uneven and details were less then normal...

That is a really stupid decision. It's better to watch it as soon as its available in a format that's comprehensible as early as possible. You can watch the dub later as an afterthought.

I'm just looking forward to the parts between BoG and RoF and then the stuff after RoF. All this retelling stuff is getting old, although the real retelling is just beginning now. Everything before episode 5 was filler like side stories.

I just watched episode 5 and I have to agree with crisis. Most of the episode was fine but there were some parts that looked subpar. The stills that everyone posted are probably representative of no more than a minute of the actual episode. I feel like a lot of people just saw Resurrection F since the last episode so their opinions are tainted by the quality of the animation in the movie.

Also what's up with Freeza Saga Goku on the bluefin site?

I think the animators will rework on the animation for that episode when it comes to home video. It's been this way for a long time in Japan. Even Sailor Moon went thru that process.

Just because you have the patience of an orangutan, doesn't mean that others do too. I don't give a damn about watching a cartoon that I don't understand. If there are subtitles, and I have to read them, then I miss the action. There is no joy in that for me. None.

I with you on waiting for dubs. I wanna watch my anime, not read it. Only reason I'm watching DBS now is cuz it's Dragon Ball and I wanna know the new stuff that's going down (although we have yet to see a damn thing). I waited for Attack on Titan and I typically do the same for every other anime but I couldn't resist with DB. Don't care about spoilers for this show like I do for others. Can't wait for the English dub to come out since I prefer it over 9000 times more than the Japanese one.

Careful Tin, your dub superiority complex is showing again...

Let people watch what they want to watch. I've watched super so far, but I wont consider it properly watched until I hear it in a language I can understand. People dont like reading when you are supposed to watch it! Its as simple as that. The dub will never be an "afterthought" to the majority of people who watch it.
