Good review, Snake!

The more I think about it, the more I have to highly consider Broly as one of, in not, the best figure in this line. IIRC, his design was released a full year before Super Warrior Awakening Goku. That release may have revolutionized the line but I think that makes Broly's design that much more impressive.

Thanks! Yeah I agree with you to a degree. It might be the best figure they've done overall (and I couldn't be farther from being a Broly fan) I just prefer the SWA over it given the price point and how iconic that look is. I can't believe it's going for like $400 now or more.

I'm hoping we get a piccolo in the figure rise line.

Super Warrior Awakening Goku is extremely well done by Tamashii Nations all around. Accuracy, design, price point, and etc. It's interesting though because when Broly originally came out his retail price was around $68 which is only a little more than $20 compared to Super Warrior Awakening Goku's retail price.

That is outrageous for the SDCC Broly to be nearing $400 in certain after markets. I really don't know if Tamashii will release another Broly, or what sort of loophole they can find, but hopefully they're not done with him in different Character Categories.

We are. They had a teaser with him and Super Saiyan 1 Gohan about a month ago.

They might do another Broly, I would never rule out a 2.0. It was $68? How times of changed. It's like $80 now.

Awesome! I love that line. A little paint goes a long way with them.

A smaller Broly with normal black hair and gold hair would be nice. I'm not a fan of the huge body :lol

I think we are more likely to get a Kale than we are a 2.0 Broly tbh. That or a Kefla, though she wasnt in the show nearly enough to warrant a figure as cool as she was imo.

Kefla will definitely make a return. I can even see her attaining SSB and then going up against Vegito in a friendly sparring match.

It’s almost obvious that at the end of the tournament the Super Dragon Balls will be used to bring back most if not all the universes. They wouldn’t give us all these characters, develop them and then erase them completely. Death or erasure is never permanent in this series and there’s definitely gonna be a happy ending to all of this

The way i see it, the Grand Priest wants them erased, whereas the Zenohs are indifferent. They are easily persuaded so Goku can tell them to bring them back because they can have more tournaments to entertain them, they'll think that's a great idea, but Grand Priest won't like that. And that's how the next arc starts.

Super Saiyan God Goku arrived today... I really like him. Had to dig beerus out of the storage box for some posing of course.

I also got Shenron today but I'm going to wait until the weekend to open that up.

Frieza is looking good!

I wish Tamashii corrected the boot lace color on SSG Goku. I know it’s accurate to Battle of Gods and Toriyama’s design but ultimately it was a minor nit that I’m surprised Toei didn’t make an executive call to overrule.

After all these years of collecting figuarts, tonight I just realized that I could do this

Damn it, Tamashii. ...That Frieza is looking fantastic. Straight on, it looks near perfection. Don't care for the look on the side though. Top part is still too large. Either way, it's the closest we'll have for Resurrection F and Tournament of Power.
