Not to mention that most people think that the standard for cool these days is is "snarky, sociopathic, genius". Makes for some entertaining fictional characters, and real life unbearable dicks. Look no further than the real life version, Steve Jobs. Got fired from his own company because no one could stand to work with him, and was only allowed to return once he learned how to play nice with other kids.

I really believe some things changed within the film we got could of made it great. Make the suits have at least the same color pattern that the show did. White gloves, white boots with the diamonds on them. Give all the Rangers personal weapons. Rework the entire Megazord design. And the final battle should of been longer and more reminiscent of the show battles.

I enjoyed the movie. I for one was happy that they took time to develop each characters personality. Story wise everything was great. It was more on the commercial side that the movie didn't work out so greatly.
I thought the movie even though is a kids movie didn't think much about how the designs would translate to toys. The lack of weapons is one thing. Not even like the blaster or sword. The lack of morphers was rather disappointing. The megazord could have been elaborated a bit more with different modes true to the original megazord design. All and all, I think the movie would have pleased the fans more if they approached the movie in a more commercial stand point. It doesn't have to change the plot or the characters, just elaborate more on the zords and weapons. I do understand that the original MMPR didn't have their weapons at the beginning but you have to give them something other than Jason's power sword. Even Bandai realized that and gave the other rangers something for their toys.

I dont know about you guys but I am watching Zyuranger, Gosei and Ninja seasons just because the original sentais make total sense, Im learning new poses for my figures. Thats my MMPR fix, yes I love the American version but I stick to japanese with suits and the characters with their show,
Did SH figuarts ever made the gosei and ninja figures?

Saw the new Funko hero world Power Rangers Vinyl figures (target exclusive). Prices weren’t terrible. Not sure if I’ll pick them up though.

I saw those, but not my thing. I'll admit they look cool, but just another thing I'll probably sell in a year or two.

They are releasing the MMPR legacy zords individually based off the Soul of Chogokin mold, they are doing the voltron treament like releasing the soul of chogokin mold but bigger and more toy like at expensive prices

Interesting move. So do they combine as well?

I'm curious how much more 'toy like' they will be.

They will, they will just sell each zord individually, they are bigger than the SoC but identical in movement, cheaper paint and plastic

Tyrannozord will retail for 40, just to give you an idea

Well that kind of sucks. So it's bigger, but cheaper quality???

I might as well keep the Legacy Megazord then, no?

Not really because they have the same movement if not more than the SoC gx-72

Playmates is getting sneaky, 20-30 years ago we used to buy a figure and bam everything came with it now they try to gouge us with selling everything individually LOL

I wouldnt relate them to the SOC version at all. They are all-new moulds, that are trying to cash in on the imaginext toys by making "playset " none transforming toys. The articulation is just coincidental. But they are all new. They will not form the Megazord.

Where did you find them at? Can you take a picture of the upc?

The similarities between this and the new voltron figures is outstanding!
