If they look like the proto, then I'm on board. I just want 1/6 Rangers on my shelf. You can always rationalize it as a custom, Chap99. A pretty cheaply priced custom at that.

True, but I may just live vicariously through you all. :lol

I'd be interested in that Green Ranger 1/6 figure no matter what, but only for around $110?

What am I missing here, guys, as this seems too good to be true! Is Ace Toyz reputable (their website seems to be down right now, for instance)? Do they make good, quality stuff? I don't think I've ever heard of them before...

I thought PCS was doing them?
This is rather good but just looking at the green ranger with the color difference between the helmet and the outfit, it's a big problem imo.

Yea. His morpher is also the wrong color and has the wrong coin. Looking at the Red ranger's helmet, the shape is a bit off and its a bit small as well. Id also like the chest diamonds to be bigger (a problem that seems to pop up a lot) They definitely aren't perfect.

Honestly though, I'm going to take what I can get and just pray that Saban doesn't shut them down before they get released. These are figures ive always wanted (and was planning on customizing before this announcement) so I just want to stay optimistic and thankful that someone is trying.

I can live with the color differences. The show was nowhere near consistently perfect in color complements. I'm glad they went with the gold shield with black highlights instead of that hideous foam gold plate from the more modern MMPR.

True, but I'd atleast like the Green Rangers morphed color fixed. It's pretty well established that the Green Ranger has a gold colored morpher.

True. If it comes silver, I'll probably get a gold paint pin at local hobby store and fix it myself. Hopefully they fix that before shipping

Well, the images have been taken down from their facebook page without explanation. This doesn't look good.

I laughed when I read your post. I would have to agree. Probably not looking good.

(Not trying to sound like a ****. I know a lot of you were looking forward to them.)

Well I can't really say I'm surprised. There was no way that these were going to fly under Saban's radar for the months it would spend on pre-order. And those guys are hardcore about copyright.

Just bummed that we are now back to square one on getting a 1/6 PR figure.

I hear you. We're due something. It's a little ridiculous that no one has seized the opportunity.

I didn't think Saban was this 'good' about sniffing stuff out like that. I guess I was wrong. :lol

Yea, Saban is essentially just a toy company that essentially uses the property as a commercial for those toys. They are really big on cracking down on what they call "fake toys". Ive even heard of people selling customs on Ebay have even gotten C&D notices.

One notable story is that a customizer asked JDF to sign a custom figure he made. JDF liked the figure so much that he asked the customizer to make a bunch more so he could sell them through his store or at cons. Saban got a whiff of it and threatened JDF with a lawsuit and immediately cancelled his order with the customizer, who was then left holding the bag with thousands of dollars worth of toy parts he bought for the order.

Oh, ****. I had not heard that story. That's horrible for JDF. I also don't blame Saban though, but ****.

Did he ever post a picture of it on his Instagram or YT page? I'd be curious to see it.

Sure thing. Here it is.

Honestly I felt worse for the customizer. Was kind of a lame move for JDF to take out a massive order and then cancell after the artist acquired all the parts.
