I get where some are coming from, the hair hurts this figure. The hair also hurts the HT figure. It's not only gold but the relaxed hair is kinda helmet. The BS Luke though, he not only looks nothing like Luke nor Mark..he looks like a scared/sad puppy.

I think the BS luke sculpt is way more accurate for the most part and just the paint that ruins it

My mind is just dumbfounded at all the "BS sculpt is better"...sorry, what? To the folk saying that, do you actually HAVE figuarts Luke, or are you just making excuses for yourselves not to buy it?

I have both, and BS Luke looks nothing like Mark Hamill, the figuarts is spitting image likeness.

Theres no comparison. At all. People be needing glasses in here [emoji38]

I've rationalized it by concluding they are trolls and nothing more. It's not even a matter of opinion tbh.

If someone personally told me the BS Luke is better than the SHF one, I'd immediately leave.

Why would I have to go out of my way to even have the BS face be repainted to the point I can sum up the expenses, plus buying the figure, as equal to the SHF Luke on its first release - 40 ish USDs.

When even if it 'captures' the likeness of Luke, it's nothing to the SHF Luke in my opinion. They can say whatever they want: no likeness, gold hair, expensive, no flip gimmick on his chest and wearing a diaper - SHF doesnt have lackluster articulation, gummy plastic body mold, inaccurate belt and hair, wears a panty, unbalanced leg joints and has few accessories.

I actually find it interesting how we all see things differently.. i don't get upset. There have been many times where i was meh on a person someone else, a majority even, found attractive.

I'm just dumbfounded to think that anyone in their heart of hearts can believe that the BS face is better than the Figuarts in ANY way, hence the troll comment. You guys think they'll ever make cloaked Darth Maul? Most likely he'd come with plastic cloak but I don't see why they couldn't do it. Would go great with the speeder too.

I dont think they could make it work honestly, not unless it was built into the sculpt. That said, you could always get the cloth robes or even buy a fake BS Maul and use that cloak if plastics more your thing?
