It's not that popular a thread, so apart from when reveals and pre-orders go up, it's pretty quiet with very few alerts.

Or just subscribe when there has been a reveal and unsubscribe after the PO.

I got into this line in substitute of HTs to save money and the quality is top notch. But the sheer volume of figs is going to break the bank! Gonna have to try and ebay my Turtles collection

I'm surprised how in-scale they are with the Black Series, maybe I should have kept X-wing Luke, Greedo and Bossk!



There really is no comparison with the Black Series. Makes BS Jedi Luke look like the 1983 Kenner 4-incher!

X-wing Luke looked fantastic. Sadly, for the human figures it was a bait and switch. The rest got worse very quickly!

I still like Boba despite the lousy articulation and the scout and speeder bike but yeah the humans they just got worse in all phases

Suppose Capt. Phasma only gets a scene and they kill her off

I think it's really too soon to go busting our wallets trying to collect every single character

Highly doubt that, JJ's said she's his favorite character! No, Christie is gonna have a field day with this character. I can really see Hux dying, but not Phasma or Kylo.

But yeah, imo... I'm a bit annoyed these PO's go up. People with cash plenty can just secure **** no matter whether they want the figure after seeing the movie, but rest gotta take a big gamble now, cause it's merch for a movie we don't know yet.:

I'm buying him as well, but that qui gon lightsaber is weird though. Does that mean they aren't making him?

Not planning to get those episode VII characters yet. Need to see the movie before I commit.

Kylo looks kinda boring for a design, isn't there supposed to be an unmasked version of him in the movie?

Swhat I wondered as well but you could also see it the other way around: they already have his lightsaber, could be a sign they ARE gonna make him. In any case it's sort of typical for SHF though to include such things. Especially this line it seems. Maybe Kylo includes a crushd vader helmet.

Lol. Yeah the two luke's next to each other are a baffling difference. Just wanna chuck that bs luke at a 9 year old. Glad I didn't buy it. Got out of BS entirely.

I really didn't like Scout. Scout had a bent helmet, leg plastic was too soft and the knees were loose. He could barely stand up, and the gun broke immediately. I have high hopes for Figuarts Biker Scout.

One more question on this line. If I start it, I'd really hope they go long and deep on the releases across all the movies. Can we realistically expect that or will this be more a highlight line lacking completion? What does Figuarts history of licenses tell us?

Difficult to say. They have done battle droids and TPM Obi Wan, which suggests they won't simply stick to the heavy hitters. I'd be up for anything from them.

Luke was good as a BS, personally I don't think any of BS are worth $20, not with Hasbro's articulation and detail. I think at 6" they should be around $10 and 3" needs to come down in price

Bluefin or at least the U.S. Distribution of Tamashi Nations is not going anywhere. They have all the licenses to Power Rangers and they plan to make more. Disney has complete trust in what Figuarts can bring to the table and SW and Marvel are good products they can work with.

If anything I'd think PAK will probably end up dropping the SW line in the near future before Bandai
Figuarts is also investing a lot in DBZ and will continue to do so.
