The big problem with hot toys are the base bofies and clothes. This is simply my opinion, but q lot of hot toys figure that use true type bodies look short, puffy, and the head scales vary pretty widely, winter soldier for example has a very long head front to back, it looks weird to me. The new star wars troopers look very puffy, kylo is alright, but I want a line on my shelf. Raiden is another example of oddly proportioned hot toys. Iron man is near perfect but they all have their minor issues. Bandai seems to have the best approach to articulation and sculpt, and im an action figure fan first and foremost, i font need real material hiding joints and stuff. Cap is my prime example, the hot toys can barely fo any type of "dynamic" posing, and the only reason he can even get as far as he does is because the clothing is overly baggy, which doesnt look good. Figuarts can fo damn near anything and looks great.

As for star wars theyve killed it, its the best line on the market hands down.
Got me two Obis, two kylos and two FO troopers, cannot wait to get that obi wan

Great points! and yes, Obi wan looks stunning. Their use of the 3d scan printing for these faces has been awesome. Can't wait for more human characters like Han, Leia, and maybe even palpatine.

Ordered Kylo Ren and First Order Storm Trooper from CDJapan. Hope it goes through smoothly, never ordered from them before. All other online stores I checked were sold out already.

Yep, I had to get mine at CD Japan as well. I've used them many times for Blu-ray imports, so they're safe!

Hmmm... CDJapan has some sketchy reviews but also many awesome ones. I can't tell if they charge your credit card right away on PO or not though. Don't want to use paypal and pay now but also want stormtroopers and a kylo ren for my cousin!.

HLJ still has these listed for release this month? Pretty sure they arent, but its an odd thing for HLJ to have done on three figures, especially after they pulled kylo down and fixed the September 3 release

Luke vs. 90s hasbro Vader that I got from my brother as a gift :lol

As much as I want a figuarts ver, the scale and the small dome is just painful to watch. And with the figuarts MO, they will announce the renewal version in about a year or so with improved height and proportionate dome. I've been thinking of swapping it with the anakin head that I got from Luke though, that way I can have 2 versions when the renewal ver comes out. :gah:

Thanks. This isn't my final display yet. :lol

My plan is to customize a transparent acrylic and use partitions to make small compartments for the figure to fit in and drill it to the wall and have em stand in a museum pose.

Wow, I don't know what to do. Like everyone else, I'm basically done with Hasbro and TPM Obi-Wan is one of the ones I've been waiting on from TBS. This one just BLOWS away anything Hasbro could ever attempt, but I don't want to get into a $50 6" line. Hmm..... I need that figure, though. And Maul. And the Battle Droid. And ANH Luke and Han. And 3P0 and R2. Oh dear.

think of it this way

$50 a month (sometimes multiple releases in a month so maybe x2) for a single damn near perfect fig, or $20 x 4 every few months for heaps of mediocre offerings? spread out over year, its easier on the wallet and much more satisfying when you get a few key pieces in at a time versus the hasbro Alt

Hi guys. Total newb question. I'm totally lost on the shipping methods on Amiami. Which one is the best for shipment to the U.S.? I'm looking through their FAQ and not really making sense of it. Thank you!
