The big problem with hot toys are the base bofies and clothes. This is simply my opinion, but q lot of hot toys figure that use true type bodies look short, puffy, and the head scales vary pretty widely, winter soldier for example has a very long head front to back, it looks weird to me. The new star wars troopers look very puffy, kylo is alright, but I want a line on my shelf. Raiden is another example of oddly proportioned hot toys. Iron man is near perfect but they all have their minor issues. Bandai seems to have the best approach to articulation and sculpt, and im an action figure fan first and foremost, i font need real material hiding joints and stuff. Cap is my prime example, the hot toys can barely fo any type of "dynamic" posing, and the only reason he can even get as far as he does is because the clothing is overly baggy, which doesnt look good. Figuarts can fo damn near anything and looks great.
As for star wars theyve killed it, its the best line on the market hands down.
Got me two Obis, two kylos and two FO troopers, cannot wait to get that obi wan
Great points! and yes, Obi wan looks stunning. Their use of the 3d scan printing for these faces has been awesome. Can't wait for more human characters like Han, Leia, and maybe even palpatine.
