Just an observation and perhaps I am late to the game on this one but this image taken recently at a show in Japan (?) - Look at what's sitting in the background behind Darth Maul....are we to assume that we may be getting a second version of this guy which includes a Sith Speeder? Also a great shot of R2 and C3PO :)

The speeder is prolly sold separately. Or maybe with a robed Maul and make it into exclusive tamashii set.

I hope we get farmboy Luke soon and stormtrooper Luke.

In terms of tooling, a Stormtrooper Luke wouldn't be much of an effort to produce I think. A farmboy Luke, Han, Chewbacca, Leia and Kenobi to close out A New Hope would be fantastic!...something Hasbro can't seem to accomplish.

So for me these new Star Wars figures went up at 3am... Tried to set my alarm for time difference but got time wrong and woke up at 4am and they were sold out :( ... But when I woke up at 7am they were back up :yess:, so thankfully I got my order in for Ren. I only wanted Ren, and so far the only Force Awakens merch I am even buying. He's way better than Hasbro's black series 6" and the only figure I'm remotely interested in. I can't accept the new trooper's helmets.. It's killing me!! :lol And the Captain Phasma is literally just dipping the normal trooper in chrome!

Good timing, I have no unsubscribed from all threads other than this and the Squad Leader HT (incase it goes to an almost gone alert and I decide I really want one) as I quite like the Troopers, yeh I see the duck thing in the helmet but I think they are an ok re-imagining of the original Troopers... not as good as the EIII clones but least they aren't the EII Troopers...

Knowing my luck I will watch both this thread and AmiAmi like a hawk for the next few days and when they do put more stock online I will be asleep... So Im off to get coffee as sleep is for loosers

Well I'm all caught up with this line now. I re-bought Vader and Stormtrooper since I sold them off a month or 2 ago. Ordered a luke. Got all my pre-orders in line. I have a question though. I always thought Figuarts went up for pre-order on Thursdays on sites like Amiami, but this week the Clone trooper and battle droid were up earlier in the week, and obviously the others for force Friday, which I understand. Is there a place to see when these new figures are going up for pre-order? I want to keep up with this line and get the jump on pre-ordering them since they sell out so fast. Someone told me to get up at 2am last night for Ren/trooper/obi, which was accurate because I got up, saw that they were just put up, ordered them and went back to bed. Where do they get this info?

Prolly be a tamashii exclusive or something, along with Han.

You mean you don't call this an accomplishment? :rotfl

That Luke was the final nail in the coffin for me and TBS. It just isn't a collector line, the quality is abysmal.

Same. I saw that and sold my entire BS collection, which was every figure released minus IG-88 wave.

If shf goes far with marvel and Star Wars, then like lipsmack, I may collect these instead of Hot Toys.

Their star wars figs are great. Not really sold on their marvel ones. Hulk headsculpt is atrocious to me and thor's hair..ugh. Not sure I could beat Hot Toys for marvel characters. Hot toys Star Wars, on the other hand, hasn't really been impressive to me so far. I haven't been disappointed by any of these sw figuarts yet. The only minor complaint I have so far is vader's size, but otherwise everything has been awesome.

The big problem with hot toys are the base bofies and clothes. This is simply my opinion, but q lot of hot toys figure that use true type bodies look short, puffy, and the head scales vary pretty widely, winter soldier for example has a very long head front to back, it looks weird to me. The new star wars troopers look very puffy, kylo is alright, but I want a line on my shelf. Raiden is another example of oddly proportioned hot toys. Iron man is near perfect but they all have their minor issues. Bandai seems to have the best approach to articulation and sculpt, and im an action figure fan first and foremost, i font need real material hiding joints and stuff. Cap is my prime example, the hot toys can barely fo any type of "dynamic" posing, and the only reason he can even get as far as he does is because the clothing is overly baggy, which doesnt look good. Figuarts can fo damn near anything and looks great.

As for star wars theyve killed it, its the best line on the market hands down.
Got me two Obis, two kylos and two FO troopers, cannot wait to get that obi wan
