Ordered Maul this morning. Is CD Japan reliable?

No idea. I always go HLJ or Ami2.

I nearly ordered maul from cdjapan myself, however just before ordering I read some negative reviews. I don't know whether to take the gamble?

I also went to pre order obi wan from ami ami and went through check out only to be told the pre order is sold out!!

He's gone sold out and back in stock a few times since release date. I'll post here if he goes back up again.

I have SHF Vader and Luke, I love both figures, but honestly I do wish Vader was taller. I'm interested to see what they do with Phasma and her height. If she towers over Vader THEN I'll be annoyed (unless we get a revised version of Vader afterwards)

I think they will revisit this vader, but it won't be for a while. They just did a second run for him, maybe in a bout a year or two I guess.

I really don't see them completely upscaling Vader...

@platty and yeah, what Hyd said. I missed the first time on amiami, and I think two days later obi-wan opened up again. Luke and TPM Obi are the one I wanted most. Even if the line gets blocked, or too expensive, I'll have my favorite jedis representing each trilogy. So had to register to amiami to secure him as best I could.

Otherwise.. yeah Maul, dunno, I kinda mostly want him cloaked like on tatooine. That sortof introduced a new look for the sith, entirely black robed, shining leather gloves, not machine, and not a creepy old dude. A beast with a monstrous determination.

Maul in this look – as short as his appearance was – remains my favorite Sith aesthetically to date. TPM introduced jedi and sith (save for midichlorians) fantastically.

If I could find or make a cloak like this, cloth, and throw it on SHF Maul...

Is Maul really supposed to come out this month? I'm getting pretty anxious to get him and I'm actually getting Vader delivered today, so these two will hold me over until Kylo Ren comes out

That is what I'm thinking they are. I'm hoping that the faces are painted good on the one I receive and the rest is getting painted so mistakes anywhere else doesn't matter. Still can't understand how an item shipped from China can get to the US in 2 days and then take 6 days to move across 3 states and then sit at a PO 10 minutes away for 2 days before it arrives at my local PO.

Haha. Going through this now with a legit Luke. It literally came from japan in 1 day but sat in Chicago customs for 2 days. I'm 1.5 hours from Chicago. Frustrating.
