Holy crap, she sold out at BBTS for $85! That's basically scalper pricing.

BBTS are scumbags and they've only been getting worse. I find there's always much better places to shop from than there. Try Anime Island, MH Toy Shop, or Toyz in the Box. They're all legit and cheaper than BBTS.

So, with all those 1/12 Stormtroopers by everyone, it'd be pretty easy for them to make the Han & Luke variants. How soon do you think those would be? Been tossing up the Black series versions.

Bbts have to price accordingly. They buy them in for a lot so therefore have to sell them for a lot. I'd imagine they don't make much money at all from them.

They are a business after all. the aim in business is to make money.

I wish the Force Awakens figures were being released before the movie, it's a shame that Phasma will arrive over a month after the films release. I'm not collecting any of the Hasbro junk, so I'll be getting my TFA stuff after the movie unfortunately :impatient:.

I'm ok with the TFA releasing late, I have enough orders coming for me before dec and I have to figure out how I'm going to pay for it all :slap

Yeah, tell me about it! That's why I am limiting myself to this line. I want that Hot Toys Kylo Ren (I'm pretty sure the Phasma will be awesome too), but I can no longer justify the amount of money being spent on toys LOL.

This is an expensive hobby! I'm kinda glad SHF has such a spaced out release schedule so I can financially keep up.

Yep! I may eventually break down and get the Hot Toys Kylo, but troop builders at over $200 a piece? No

Medicom just revealed their MAFEX Boba Fett figure. It looks pretty good, but I think I'll wait until SHF makes theirs, as the final product of the MAFEX Vader and Trooper don't look as finely detailed as their SHF counterparts.

I agree that the Mafex trooper isn't as nice. However I have both the Mafex and figuarts Vaders and I would prefer the mafex any day of the week. The scale is nicer, better helmet, cloth cape, and tight joints (on mine).

Where did you get this info?

I want to say that pics were revealed at the New York Con. Just google and I'm sure he'll come up

Geesh now we're getting more from other companies. Honestly folks I get confused with the Asian company names I thought Bandai was with SH Figurarts or something?

:slap

Bandai is the name of the company and SH Figuarts is the line of figures they make in addition to the model kits.

There's no way SHF won't do Fett; since that line is the majority of my 1/12 collection, I'm happy to wait. MAFEX does look good but will likely be too tall.

On a related note, the SHF Stormtrooper and E-11 blaster is in proper 1:12 scale. I checked when I had an idea that the blaster was over-scaled but it's almost dead on, measured against RPF specs.

Which would make Revoltech blasters under-scaled and their troopers too tall; BS6" E-11s would be a touch over-scaled; not sure about their troopers but they're probably okay height-wise, just too skinny.

To be honest I'd rather have had they'd released all TFA figures AFTER TFA and give everyone the fair chance at them without possibly buying something you don't end up wanting. We don't know the characters now. I think they'll be rereleased anyway, but I'm still mildly annoyed at the prospect of these not being available once the movie's actually out and I know whether I even remotely like these characters.

Great pics of maul etc a bit back btw! I'm deffo also gonna try and mod a robe after the tatooine maul shot Gasper posted.
