I hope the little rangers next to it aren't to scale... since that would make the head really cramped for all of them. Not to mention, the Megazord hugely scaled down...

I'm really hoping that the toy version looks more human because they can't get it to actually look like a robot and the movie version will have more robot type features, actually show some gears in the joints. I was expecting something along the lines of possibly Gipsy Danger from Pacific Rim for the megazord.

It is funny how pacific rim created the best robot that could have worked for this movie

In size yes, but in design no. As much as a departure as this is from the Megazord we grew up with, it's still more fitting than any of that stuff.

Oddly, the last pic kinda pushed me from not liking it to be undecided about it. It's got some stuff I do like about it. I do think more weapons is good since just the Power Sword is boring frankly. Although with that toy pic, I think it has an overabundance of weaponry.

it looks like they turned the Megazord into Ultraman with wings. I don't really dig the organic look, it's too human. I was expecting something stylized but I don't see the megazord in this design anywhere. Hopefully it looks better in the final film but this doesn't look good.

That's pretty much my thoughts exactly. Hopefully, it'll grow on me.

I'm also curious if we get a Tank Mode - because I see no possibility for that in this design.

Given they are at least making a sequel, we more than likely will get different styles of armor, words, etc. We may actually not even get the megaword in this movie (even though we have the toy). Once the trailer hits, we can see what it looks like. Bandai is notorious for making toys that look NOTHING like the movie.

Obviously, it's me talking to myself tonight - but looking at this suits again:

The helmets of Red, Yellow and Blue are bad ***. Oddly enough, I think Black looks the worst - but I overall, I think he has the best looking suit, if that makes sense.

And Rita's suit (in these pics) looks 100%.

I think XM is making MMPR pieces, but I don't think anything for new movie has been announced. But yeah, I'd love to see 1/3 scale of these things.
