Only one problem - if you get this you gotta get the new Wolverine also. And visa versa.

I get that Sabretooth would be promoted as a companion piece to Wolverine, but in this case it makes no sense. It's been more than 20 years since I read the series, but I'm pretty sure that Sabretooth wasn't in Claremont and Miller's "Japan Saga".

I'm sure they didn't think it would be a good seller, but a companion piece featuring a Hand Ninja (hell, put two on one base) with full mixed media fabric would have been great.

I'm looking forward to this reveal. I wasn't into PFs like I am now when the original Wolverine and Sabertooth were sold and I never got around to getting either in the aftermarket. But with this new reveal gives me an option on whether to go classic and sculpted or the previously released one and mixed media.

Kinda similar to the Classic X-men imprint that reprinted the early Uncanny X-men comics issues back in the day. I got into the X-men through those issues and the Steve Lightle covers were beautiful.

I for one am interested to see how this tweaked Sabertooth turns out.

1st appearance wolverine and sabretooth wouldve been cool for the original releases.

Modern brown suit Wolverine and Lee style sabretooth wouldve worked better this time around

These things are no longer 'fine art collectibles' as much as they are action figures now
