The classic Catwoman pf is a resculpt of the mix media one.

Isnt this true? So it's not a 100% new sculpt because they used the same pose, body mold etc and just change it around a bit. This cuts way down on time, and man power costs to produce a statue including the back of the stage works from artist to sculptors. It's good for ss but it's taking away so much creativity to make a completely new statue which would look a lot better in our collections. It gets kind of boring and so expensive for minor changes, having so many same poses of different characters and costumes.

I would get a Byrne lineup of X-Men pfs.

I've been begging for that since I joined this board. I would be all over that in a heartbeat. I just need 6 members. Cyke, Phoenix, Storm, Colossus, Wolvie, and Nightcrawler. Those are the top 6 characters that represent the Byrne lineup for me. Those 6 would be all I need. Actually, I already have the Wolvie COM so I would just need the other 5 characters. Having a 1/4 Byrne lineup would be a dream come true.

I'm sure we've had to discuss this before filip because I've posted plenty that my favorite comic run is "Giant Size X-Men" 1 to "X-Men" 138 (wasn't officially "Uncanny" yet)...dialogue might be dated, but story wise, it gets no better than those comics. That 6 member line up (really 7, since Prof. X was there and active) is EVERYTHING.

The only 2 variants SS should've done was convert the Cyclops and Colossus PFs to the Cockrum/Byrne versions of the 70s/early 80s.

I'll have half of the 6 you mentioned...Storm and Wolverine PFs, and XM Phoenix.

Angel (red costume and yellow gloves from Dark Phoenix Saga) and Beast occasionally teamed up with them in those days, so I'd want them, too.

For the love of God why is there no 1/4 Nightcrawler?!?!

Peedi, you and I have a VERY similar mind set and love of all things X-MEN from that era. The fact that you have read those issues and have great knowledge regarding them allows me to enjoy whenever you post on the subject. That Claremont/Cockrum/Byrne run is to this day my absolute favorite comic run ever.

As far as Nightcrawler is concerned...he's only one of a few great X-characters that get no love from SSC. I'd have to add Phoenix, Mags, and Juggy to that list of neglected X-characters. I know Mags and Juggy are villains but they get a lot of love from X-fans. If Misney hasn't put a stop on the X-MEN characters, SSC should get on it's horse and start pumping out some much needed mutant PFs. I want much more than a brown Wolvie and Sabretooth variant from SSC. As a collector, I've been waiting a long time for SSC to tap into the Byrne era of the X-MEN. Hopefully, a few of those characters start popping up soon.
