I decided not to pay for a hotel and just stay with you instead. I hope you don't mind? I want to save some money to spend it on the collectibles. Your family will love me. For breakfast I'll have some chorizo con huevos with tortilla.

All hostels are booked up already.Things are selling out a lot faster this year. Unless you want to be in a 6 or 10 person dorm room...that's all that's currently available.
I thought all Hostels there were like 6-10 dorms? Then again, I've never stayed at a Hostel. You guys should rent out a SSC/freaks dorm room. Do they have doors, or are they open?

...Uhh...well...If your not a psycho you can stay. Breakfast we can give you, but you'll have to pay for our drinks because I'm not going to have someone stay over and just fart under the blankets for free.

Done. Of course I'll pay for drinks and I'll even buy you a collectible at the con. That's still a better deal then going through the hassle of landing a hotel and then being overcharged.
Next month some of the other collectors and I will be at the WonderCon so you can meet me there and know that I'm a nice person.

Scott- if you get through on hell day and score a Con discount then yeah, about that much.
Without the Con deal, I do believe it's more like $400/night.

I did the same as I did last year. 80-100/night and after my CC points, I only pay 150, so my whole 4-day stay will be less than one night at the Marriot. I thought about the hostel route, but seemed a little sketchy, especially from the reviews.

I love using credit card points and/or cash back.
I can never understand why people who normally use credit cards wouldn't choose to use one that gives something back.
And yeah- from what I understand, the hostel route is a bit rough. Much nicer to stay somewhere comfy especially after the chaos and drinking that is Con.
