Nice work Josh, pretty much every other photo I've seen of the SDCC figure washed out that there was dirtying of the helmet and armor on a sublte level, more like a staining from the sand, in addition to the big splatters as well.

While I agree it's not as good as the proto paint job, it does look much better than a lot of con photos suggested.

I was surprised to learn the pauldron is made of fabric... I assumed it would be plastic like other releases. Looks good, and could probably take weathering very well.

Thanks guys! Wasn't sure about these shots but glad you guys like them. He looks really cool in person and I love the weathering but then again I had Josh beat up the two medicom troopers quite a bit I sent him and love how SS did the Utapau and Shock.

If the 212th Utapau trooper is any indication, I think the weathering will be pretty close to identical between Sandies.

I can't belive I'm wanting to pass on this one. I just can't get past the weathering.... The paint is just SO dark on the legs and chest. It looks like the paint is chipping and underneath the white there's a dark brown plastic. The helmet and torso armor look awesome though! I wish SS stuck with that style of weathering all over.

See that is how much it hurt me. I was thinking New User Experience but you are right it is New Game Experience. I didn't mind the CU as much but the game was so tits before both of those "upgrades".

It looks like the armours base colour is brown and its painted white but its chipped

Shouldnt need to be re-weathering these at this price point

Glad Ive been picking up Marmits now and re-weathered those

Whether they need to be repainted or not is pretty much a personal preference. I don't consider it to need re-weathering, so 'at this price point', I'm perfectly satisfied.
