Easy pass. The weathering is not screen accurate.

Weathering does look bad, but I won't call it's not screen accurate. There's no such thing like screen accurate weathering for dozen of foot soldiers.

I'm getting the orange pauldron version and keeping my order on the white version too - my colelcting focus are OT Imperials . Hopefully they will improve the new one a bit, but I kind of doubt it. At least maybe it will come with Lewis Mark I rifle - Blastech T-21:

You know, I'm beginning to wonder if there will be an exclusive for this guy. The teaser says nothing about any kind of exclusive. It's also not the usual 10am PPO--it's just a pre-order with the newsletter. It always feels like the minor POs are done with the newsletter, almost like throwaways, since there is no exact time the newsletter comes out on Thursdays. What do you guys think?

That sounds about right... 1/6 (if there is an exclusive) will generally have a separate PO. This could just be a site exclusive, or just not have an exclusive.

If that's the case I'll just get it from a retailer and save a few bucks.

Is it me, or do the eyes look to have a dark green tint as they should? Look at the line around the eye, the slight green spill.

I'd still love to see a vinyl Dewback from Sideshow to go with these guys, the detailing and paint job they could do would be awesome, and with their connections, might even have some times like being done in conjunction with the original designers like the Jabba figure or the Crumb 1:1.

A proper scale Dewback would be even more massive than Jabba AND his throne. Not sure I have the room or the $249-329 cash for something like that.

Yeah, but didn't Ray's review say that they missed that detail -- no green eyes?

If so, and it's in that proto pic, then I guess we might not get it on the orange one either... unless they go for it this time.

Of course, as long as I got my paints out to fix the weathering, adding some green to the eyes like I did to the ST isn't too much trouble.
