I think I might have to follow suite with a lot of people and cancel the white for the orange. I would love to have both, but if I could only have one it would have to be the orange pauldron.

Besides the white one is hitting me at a bad time. I just got back from a three week backpacking trip to Europe so my extra funds are a bit more depleted at the moment than I expected. Maybe I'll pick up the white one down the road.

I was on the fence between Toht and the white pauldron Sandtrooper a while back. It was one or the other and Wor-Gar kindly talked me down on the Sandtrooper, saying that there would most likely be more versions to come. I figured there would be as well, but also figured they'd be a ways off, so I am happy about this one.

A proper scale Dewback would be even more massive than Jabba AND his throne. Not sure I have the room or the $249-329 cash for something like that.

No way it would be that much, it'd be holo vinyl, I'd wager $200 tops, Jabba was $120, even with the rising prices, some things haven't gone up as much as figures over the years so I don't think a Dewback would be too pricey. Huge and space consuming yes, but I'd do it for a Dewback, that'd be visually interesting to me unlike a car or some other inanimate thing like the Power Loader or the Tumbler.

Exactly my thinking: that saddle is very ornate. I know all too well what Jabba's original price was, Maulfan -- I foolishly paid it.

Well this was a pretty meh announcement. Don't get me wrong, I want all three sandtroopers, but after a 3 month wait I was expecting something a bit......... Different. Bizarre timing too from a business point of view. They should have waited for at least a month after the first sandtrooper shipped, they must be getting a lot of cancellations.

I hope we get a better 12" announcement for spooktacular.

That's a fact. I did not want all three, and I do now that this one is coming, but I'll be damned if this was what I was hoping for at this point. Especially after SDCC.

eh, I wouldn't worry. With him coming, he's bound to PPO soon, so I'd look for a surprise announcement during Spook. We're LONG overdue for another announcement.

Aren't there 4 versions of the Sandtrooper? White, Orange, Grey, and Black.

I will have to see if I can find the text.

No there was only 3, but theres extra added from EU stuff etc.

Sandtrooper pauldrons designated the following:

* Black - Private
* White - Sergeant
* Orange - Squad Leader

Field Trooper pauldrons designated the following:

* Yellow - Rail Detonator equipped Field Trooper
* Red - Imperial Repeater Rifle equipped Field Trooper

Imperial Marines and Imperial Shock Trooper pauldrons designated the following:

* Orange - The normal color worn by these units. Orange colored pauldron was also standard equipped on the Stormtrooper Backpack

Some regular Stormtrooper units from around 1.5 years ABY had pauldrons that designated the following:

* Gray - Bombardier
* Yellow - Rifleman
* Red - Medic
* Blue - Sniper
* Orange - Captain
