That's done it for me, unfortunately. I've just spent a grand on a new laptop plus this may very well arrive far too close to the other items that I've already ordered. & I'm not willing to drop my Christopher Reeve Superman PF Ex, Alien Big Chap LSB Ex or my Alien Warrior LSB Ex. So I just cannot risk ordering this.

And I'm really upset about that as I think he looks absolutely stunning! I'll just have to hope that I can pick up the Ex for around the same price next year on Ebay. So congratulations to all who order this. Your collections are in for a real treat.

How many times are you going to say that? It was already established why and SS had planned to do just that. I don't mind the EX being the other hand, but would like to have had that "other" piece that was hinted at as a bonus to help justify the price tag.

It was mentioned that they were going to do something else in addition to the open hand for the EX(as they agreed it was backwards to have the better hand for the regular) also but it got thrown out for some reason.

Dump that Reeve PF and get this guy. That statue unless someone rescues it, will go down as an all time fail for SS. Even if you still like it the EX is weak and he will be made in much larger numbers than Saruman so more likely to be at or under retail after release.

Agreed, although i don't care for the character much, this statue looks very well done.

The reeve superman is one of the biggest screw ups in ss history, on par with the rogue pf. It looks absolutely horrible and i am not even talking about the pose, and those are the best photos of the prototype, imagine what the final product will look like. Dump it and get this.

You can get GTW pretty cheap these days. I would not skip Saruman as they really are not companion pieces anyway. Agree about the inflated prices, but $400 seems to be the new base price for a PF unfortunately.

That is a good point, GTW is quite easy to come by; personally, I think this Saruman piece is far nicer so may be a nice stand alone for now. Thanks.

I really like the Christopher Reeve Superman PF so



But believe me, if I had a time machine I would love to fast-forward to next year to see which of these items I could pick up the cheapest on the aftermarket. Christopher Reeve Superman PF, Big Chap LSB, Alien Warrior LSB or this fantastic Saruman the White PF.

I know that you guys think that it'll definitely be the CRS PF but I'm not convinced. Highest edition size, without a shadow of a doubt. But cheapest to pick up later, I'm not so sure.

But by golly this would look amazing paired with my Count Dooku PF.
