Thanks. I'm pretty excited. I got the fiance's blessing, and with the total after CA sales tax being $832, I put just over $200 down and have 60 days to come up with the remainder. I figure I'll get a good chunk of that from family for Christmas and can easily save that up in a few weeks. I have a lot of work January and February.

I know exactly where he is going too. Don't and won't have a case for him for a while, but what the hell.

Lord of the Rings has been one of my favorite stories for a long time, and the Hobbit even longer. At first I thought Sauron's helmet was too tall and disproportionate to his head, and that he was too skinny, but the statue has really grown on me, and

really sealed the deal for me.

The problem is that it is broken in two small pieces. I tried to stick it but I can see the breakage so I got in contact with the shop where I bought it and they are going to give me a discount.

That is at least the third one I know of broken exactly like that. The other 2 did not even have the pieces in the box. I ended up getting a base with nicer paint so in the end it worked out for me, hopefully they work yours out as well.

I think Sideshow has serious problems with designer boxes. I have not heard anything about broken figure in the new figures of The Hobbit of Weta

That is a monster case to fit both of those.

It is large. I had a friend build me a wood riser so Sauron would be above the wraith. I then draped them with black cloth. Made for a cool effect.

I found a second case for my Galactus. I made the ground level shelf brown. Then put him on the next level up to give the impression. His was floating prepare to deploy the world machine.
