Jess- I'm almost finished with the other chimp and gorilla sculpt I started over the week end. I'll post pictures soon.

I also started two brand new sculpts today... MAKE IT STOP! This ape stuff is going overboard with me! Maybe I should retire. This compulsion to create is a real sickness.

Even kindergarten kids cut and paste electronic pictures in the computer. Pictures are augmented easily. I thought you had experience with this. Are you actually using a bottle of Elmers glue and Scotch tape? :lol Is that why you're concerned with seams? :rotfl

There were no computers in school when I was a kid. I learned how to cut and paste with scissors and glue. Anything I've piecemealed in the computer has had seams. If you can accomplish a seamlish version of the Omega poster I would certainly be interested.

I not referring to the $600.00 Krycek figure from Sideshow. I’m referring to a head sculpt of Alex Krycek. Who sells these?

Only Krycek I've seen is Sideshow's. Great likeness. I haven't seen any others, but I'm sure there is a recast of it out there somewhere. Maybe a check thru Sideshow's site to see who sculpted it for them and maybe you could contact them and see if they happen to have a "test" cast that they could part with?

Angel how very happy I am that you are so busy with your ape work. :banana:banana:banana

I have been too ill to get going with anything. Except for the baby sweater I have knitted, I have not done anything creative.

Seeing your workbench so busy with activity is really making me excited and pumped up to get going again.:banana:banana:banana

IRONMAN - "IF" (You say "if"?)

You doubt me??? You think I'm lying? I told you, I do this all the time (in the computer) with no seams... it's a FACT, accept it, you'll sleep better. I just need the scan from Jessica as I described. :angelsmil

I'll do this at the office. Their largest scanner is 11x17.

Jess - You understand what I'm asking you to do right? Do you undertsnad what I need with the overlap? If you have to scan it 4 different times to get all the "pieces" of the entire poster I'll piece it all together on my computer. I'll then get a print made that is poster size.

Yes. I'll scan it in four scans--and you deal with the overlap and combining the PDFs or JPGs into one glorious file. I'll e-mail you the files.

Bummer Ironman. I was hoping you might have been aware of custom made sculpts out there that could actually be bought.

I want to thank you, Dr. Z for my WONDERFUL PACKAGE TODAY!! You are so generous.

The doorbell rang and I ignored it, half out of it. When I went out to pick up the kids from daycare, your package was there. Thank you for my Taylor and Nova and DVD. Now I can re-make the Nova outfit and Taylor's blanket--and photograph the two together.

I am really curious now how she will paint up!! I want to repaint Nova's face and see if it's just a matter of re-doing the eyebrows and lips to bring out Linda Harrison. I have always been so curious about this!!! Now I can try, and if I mess her up, well I'll keep trying!!

I tried to remake Nova's outfit--I'm stumped. I can't do it without photos...I don't trust myself. So...I have to dig around before I can start on it.

Has anybody ever visited a foreign country and they just didn't look like any of the locals? Everyone stares at you and all eyes follow your every move. Just like an old western...

I get the same kind of stare when I am wearing the Zira makeup. You just have to ignore it. It's a strange feeling, but that happens when you are the odd chimp out.

This morning I ironed down Nova's hair. I think she looks better. I wish her hair were much darker, though. I'll have to look into getting darker hair so I can rehair her. I'll post photos tonight when I get home.

I don't know why my Photobucket is not accepting anymore photos--I have about 2500 photos in there....
