Bri from Apemania gave me TWO General Ursus helmets!!! I'm going to have to hide those from the kids because you can't have two generals traipsing around. Before you know it, they'll want me to make their the armor.

I am SOOOO lucky when it comes to Planet of the Apes! I'm always late for the party, but somehow I am blessed. Thank God for Apemania!!!!

I would never have been able to create child-sized gorilla appliances...well, maybe I could have in time..but...this is so frickin' GREAT!!!

I can't wait to take another family portrait! I can't wait for Halloween. I'm taking the day off so that I can film us in costume....plus it takes me hours to glue on my makeup.

This weekend I want to try and finish up at least 3 or 4 of the mego-sized heads that I have. I want to at least send some of them out. I probably won't take any more commissions for awhile because I have to concentrate on the gorilla costumes for Halloween.

I'm really gunning to rehair my Nova. I think with dark chestnut hair that's the appropriate length and a repaint, I think she will look like Linda Harrison. Anybody here ever rehair their dolls? Can I just use some nylon hair I find at a wig shop or does it have to be doll-specific? Anybody know?

You're insane. I can't believe you're going to rehair her now! I can't help but laugh... and laugh some more. Don't you have enough on your plate yet?

I get bored easily with what's already on my plate. Sometimes I do something fun and out of the ordinary so I can get my blood pumping again. Helps with burnout.

Hey Dr. Z...did you cut Nova's hair? I am wondering if that is how she came...but after I ironed her hair out she's actually beautiful and I can see possibilities...but the hair color is OFF. When you take a flash photograph it's bright red. That's going to bug me.
