Monkeybat! The custom Ursus Helmet with the more correct flaps that Angel made is better than the sideshow helmet and is very professionally done. I am so glad to have it in my collection! It looks better in hand if that is possible.

Bruce Lee and Captain Kirk are the only ones I am happy with. The bald guy is totally not done--he needs tons more paint to make him as smooth as Bruce Lee as he is a resin sculpt. The other guys are rotocasts. I just need to gloss Bruce Lee's lips and eyes. Maybe I'll touch up his hairline...but I won't do this tonight.

I know he's not an ape, but he's cartoony enough that I thought I could wing it. Here's what I worked on tonight, and it's a good start for when I am good enough to work on humans. I was very very afraid to start, since I have not sculpted in a long time. If you don't use it, you lose it, I hear...

I couldn't sleep last night. Getting back into sculpting is making me so excited.

I was sculpting once again last night too Jess. It was just for a little bit. Some eyebrows and a couple ape noses. I also put some teeth in that TV gorilla with the really long face.


I gotta go. Break's over, back to work.

Well, alledgedly, my HT apes have shipped. Right after I said please let me know the status or issue a refund they say they shipped onthe 29th. Now I'm waiting for them to fnd the tracking info.
