No, not on ape city, I had a secret ingredient. :naughty

I didn't think color mattered so I figured you would be using newspaper. Whatever paper you use make sure it's wet but not soggy. If the paper is too dry the mache won't bond or adhere. You'll do fine.

Sticks - You had a secret ingredient and you're not telling? :nono

I just looked it up on the Internet. Could it be wallpaper paste?

Did you say it’s rigid foam? I would think you should use something like this keyhole saw.

Yes, it's got this plastic type of coating on it. O.k. drop that in the mail box. Lol

Have you seen that new GE commercial, where some guy asks for an 11/16 wrench?

I see it now, Angel...you have to be in the advanced reply and there's a spoiler button...when you click on that you can type your spoiler between the brackets.

Those ape children were played by midgets. I guessed at that judging by the way they moved and the general size of their heads, but Bri from Apemania confirmed it.

Ahh cool thanks..

O.K. here is my spoiler, if you really want to know.

Paper Grocery Bags

There is no substitute.

Wow, I was trying to post a reply and when I was done it vanished. Nice..

Anyway. short version..

Soak well and coat lightly for a dark color
soak soft and coat well and get a more ashy, dried up look.

Jessica I don't think you'll have to cut the mane of your furry friend. Just tuck it under his vest and pull out whatever you feel is needed. I think you can layer it pretty nice for poses, but I'll let you be the judge. Maybe try this first before cutting. :huh
