Now that your Tribunal scene is done, what's next? Do you still plan to make a mini village? Something that might fit well on a bookshelf of wall shelf and used against the wall as a backdrop. I know you were really itching to do some environments. What's next?

Actually Sticks, I've been looking at all the things in this ape collection wondering what the hell I've been doing...

I've got way to much already, and because of that, I've been asking myself what to do with all this crap. Do I keep it? Do I start selling it? I've overindulged in a bad way. I’ve been very very bad.

Guess what guys? I just built my own action figure from some Sculpey. Do you realize what this means? It means the possibilities are now endless for me!! Mego today--the world tomorrow!!

I like the umbrella Jessica.

I think those feet are copyrighted. :monkey3

I saw a bit of that--thanks, IM. I missed my favorite scenes though...by the time I turned the tv on...and I missed Escape because I had volunteered to chaperone a field trip. I am going to cut out the parts for my gorilla costumes for Wondercon. I have not even started Dylan's pullover. I guess I like to work under pressure. Yesterday I said I would cut the fabric out but I got distracted.

Anybody want to buy a modified Sideshow Zira headsculpt, unpainted....or Cornelius cast unpainted? Up for grabs...the casts are very clean and ready to roll. $25 each. I'll pay for s/h. Forgot to add that you need to drill out the necks to accomodate the Sideshow neck plugs.

Hey guys I chimped out my backpack. I should have been working on Dylan's outfit, but this has been something I have wanted to do for a long time. I had the materials on hand, so why not?

I'm really digging that idea Jessica. I think you're onto something there. What other flair can you add to make it even more POTA noticeable? Faux fur, mini scrolls?? It's hard figuring out those Chimps. Maybe the SSC crew also had a hard time coming up with accessory ideas for Cornelius and Zira. The mini Lawgiver by them is Very cool, maybe attach one to the zipper? :wacky

Just busy prepping for Wondercon. Here are the boy's pullover hoods. Dylan's is to the right, and is still not done. I need to powder it up and add some rubber mask grease paint in different shades of brown so that it does not look so flat. I also have to add more hair to the forehead and need to make another beauty supply trip so that I can get the right fake hair but not so wavy.

Angel I came upon a photo of your Caesar statue on the sfwriter's blog, while looking for ape photos.

Ironman--thank you for posting those photos. Matt's doing such a stellar job on Snick's spaceship. I would love to play with that set...but of course it would be with the Ape-o-nauts!!!

Guys--I wrote an article in this magazine. I can't wait to get my copy. Only 8 issues left on Feebay. I just love the gorilla and horse renderings on the cover page. Just looking at the drawing makes me sense so much movement and tension in the horses. So awesome!!!

Whoa! That is so freakin' cool Jessica! You're a celebrity of sorts now and those are some truly awesome pictures in that mag. The date on that magazine is January 2010. Was that out for sale back then and we all missed it? What's the scoop with that and how did you get involved? Look your name... on the cover!

Very Cool, I hope to get a copy. only 6 left.

Isn't that so cool, Angel? The date on the magazine is January 2010 because that was the goal date to print--but there were some setbacks in printing. It was a hush hush article until it was printed, so I couldn't say anything. I'm so happy they decided to print it. It (my article) will be a great resource for someone who wants to get started costuming as an ape. And the artwork in it looks really fantastic.

It's very cool Jess! I'm going to have to sell more stuff on eBay so I can pay for it because I just ordered it. I'll be upset with myself if I let this gem slip away. I get the idea you won't see this item on bookshelves, or comic book stores, in the USA. Thanks for sharing Jessica.

Has anyone heard anything more about up and coming POTA book "Conspiracy" ??? I'm still eagerly awaiting that release!

BTW -Look what I just bumbled across. This must be the original drawing that ProtoZaius had spoken about.

So glad you and Sticks are getting the magazine. I think there were only 50 printed of this magazine because it was so expensive to do in full color. There are about 40 pages in there, and the cartoons by Neil look really well rendered. Graham's paintings--WOW in full color. I can't wait for my copy to arrive.

Where did you find that picture? He really looks like Cornelius!!

Look at how beautiful this new set of bandoliers I am making looks. So much better than what I slapped together for Ashton last Halloween. I better sculpt a new set of those bandolier buttons so I can call this project done. I MAY sew together a pair of pretend clubs to hang on the bandoliers if I can find fabric in my stash that looks decent. I still have boot covers to sew up for my boys, and a new pair of gauntlets. My Wondercon costume list is slowly being completed!

Nothing yet on my ape radar about the Conspiracy book. Last I heard it was to be ready for Comicon 2010. Drew has been very quiet, so we are all holding our breaths.
