Ok, its kind of a stretch but is somewhat Planet of the Apes related.
One of my guilty pleasures is a low budget, early Rick Baker film called Octaman. I just stumbled across it being available through Netflix streaming video.
The POTA tie in? It features an actor named Buck Kartalian.

Soooo, this Christmas has all the makings of taking it right up the ol' poopshoot. Nothing going right, back still NO better [now waiting for insurance to approve MRI], we spent the other night in the ER with my 9 year old having chest pain, it doesn't look like the Sideshow Mistress giveaway will be shining any cheer my way, and I'm really starting to understand Ebenezer a lot better.
How 'bout you fellow simians? Holidays looking to be kind towards you and yours?

Unfortunately it's the background picture that prohibits this picture getting any larger. I have a 27" monitor and it is a little pixelated. I asked for some better photos but no-one's responded.

The HT Ursus is unquestionably the best available. The SST Ursus is not bad, though it needs a few tweaks. Don't know if anyone has released an Urko...PS

My sincerest apologies Sticks! i have over 35,000 files on my computer and I never organized them too well. The shots I've found thus far are more distant shots and not always simian free.

I'm a Planet of the Apes fan and would like to buy a Ursus or Urko 12" figure? which one is the best released?

Urko never got made in 1:6 except for customs [I commissioned an Urko sculpt a few years ago]. At this point it is generally agreed that Hot Toys Ursus is the best POTA figure released in terms of overall quality and accuracy.

I'm also interested in buying the HT PotA
but in some pics that I've seen it seems their

The hair does have a tendency to "poof" as you put it. A bit of combing or [very] slight spritz can easily make it manageable.

I have the three Hot Toys apes and love them. I also have Sideshow's Gorilla and Cornelius. Personally I don't think the SS Gorilla has any place alongside his HT counterparts. Cornelius, on the other hand, looks fine with them. I would think that Zira would also be good, but not Zaius.
