I actually just learned about it the other night from a friend who works at Fox. Not sure why they're keeping it such a secret.

First, the good news! I have hit my "stride" as far as Monster Clay is involved. I can get a smooth finish now with my eyes closed, and no massaging with turpenoid...just the angle of the instrument and applying the right pressure.

Now for the bad news...I have decided to remove the middle thing from the Urko helmet and while it looks like crap now, I know it's a good thing.

Interesting;don't envy you the amount of plaster you're gonna need for this one. On a slightly different subject, once again I'm looking to find a new home for my modified SST Ursus.I will be happy to post pix, should anyone express the SLIGHTEST interest in him.I also have 2 SST soldiers, one with a re-sculpted face. Ursus helmet! Going to work now on the bottom edge and get that all even...before attempting to add the middle portion of the helmet.

Really glad I took down the middle of the helmet and just got the left and right balanced. The middle piece was really making it hard to adjust the shape evenly.

Here is the new Burke that I just received posed next to my temporary Virdon which Alex plans to also make! I noticed that I may have to find a more color coordinated body for the Burke head, but the sculpt and the outfit are now together thanks to Alex and Jess!

This is the guy with lengthened armor,a Hasbro helmet and a completely sculpted head.The bandoliers on the 2 soldiers have been darkened a bit, and 1 has a re-sculpted face(the one on the left in the bottom photo). Zaius is NOT up for grabs(at least, not 'til HT does their version...PS

As requested, here are a few shots of my SST gorilla with a re-sculpted face...

Most of the changes are pretty subtle;slightly heavier muzzle and brow and a repositioned chin with lower teeth added. Does give him quite a different look(can't decide if he looks smarter or just surprised)...PS

A thanks goes out again to Jessica for making this custom Gorilla (Julius) 1/6 scale resin head. I finally finished painting it. I knew I couldn't paint it exactly like Julius so he is just one of many.
