Are you serious, Sticks? I thought you were just kidding. I would love to put my signature on the magazine. You won't be able to read my signature though, because even I can't. But no one could forge it either, not in a million years.

Does anybody have an extra scroll and Lawgiver that came with the SS Dr. Zaius figure? that they don't want anymore or want to sell? One of my friends lent his to have a mold and casts made of them over two years ago, but the person he gave them to disappeared into the Forbidden Zone. He's given up hope of ever getting them back.

Awesome, if you get this soon, I can mail it out today! I'll go dig it out again.


Also, I can include the scroll/s and mini Lawgiver. I can send both types of scrolls, or did you just want the large wooden type one? I'll check back soon. I have your address from the Get Well card you sent me so long ago. Still in El Sobranto ?

My friend just wanted the mini Lawgiver and the scrolls that came with the Dr. Zaius -- it's been awhile since I've played with Dr. Zaius, so I can't remember what he came with. That would be most awesome if you can do that, Sticks. I just love how the apes can look out for one another. PZ--hope you take notice that Sticks has extras to send me so you won't have to go look.

The fanzine isn't selling as well as I would have thought. Pricey yes, but it's good eye candy and doesn't take up much space. IM there are still copies left of the fanzine. Just send your money through Paypal to Michael here: mswhitty at dodo dot com dot au I think it's $25 but double-check with him first.

Paul I just stumbled onto your post about you having met Paula Crist. If you can, please find those photos and post them. You said she was in full ape gear...I really would love to see that. Apemania has her foam latex appliance that they are selling, but that's way beyond my price range. I wonder if they've sold it by now?

Hey I just went to Michael's to buy some blades and chatted up with one of the workers there, whom we saw at Wondercon. He belongs to a Star Wars club in the East Bay. I took down his information. I just need to be able to find that one ape or two to geek out with. If I have to attend Star Wars stuff to gather some apes, then so be it...because if someone's going to be able to withstand that storm trooper armor, they can withstand the appliances which are more forgiving.

Sticks is there any way for me to get a DVD of your Sideshow Apes stop motion?

Did you watch "9", that new movie that came out this past month? I thought of you frequently as I watched, wondering if you'll ever make something like this too! I'd be curious to see what you think of this movie and the extras that are on it. I loved it!

Hey everyone, I may be out of commission for a bit. My back has been acting up all day from all the boxes I've been going through lately, I'm really hurting, almost had to go to the ER, but decided against the torture, and will just suck it up in bed.


Angel, I'm glad he arrived yesterday, I was going to include a little "Hello Angel" sign for him to hold when you opened the box.

Oh, I'm sure you'll find a use for him. Are you looking for base bodies, for future projects? I may have a few IGNITE figures that I'll probably never use. Just let me know.


I recently purchased Coraline DVD, anyone see this one? I really liked how they did the foggy scene, it looks like they used cotton and cgi. I have yet to see 9, which was on the Coraline disc. I must say it looked a lot better than the original teaser trailer I saw in theaters last year. I do want to see 9.

Also Angel, don't forget to follow Nosferatu with "Shadow of the Vampire." I feel they complement each other very well. Anyone else see this film.

PZ - It's no fun when the fun stuff is packed away is it? I know how you feel.

Sorry to hear about your situation, Sticks.

Last night, I thought my head would explode. I rarely have headaches and this one was ready to crack my head open. I am such a wuss...I took some medication and slept it off. This is probably my fifth headache in my life...Whew. Glad that's over with.

So far I only have Hasbro Apes, but after a visit to eBay I have a few Sideshow Apes in the mail. You folks all helped to inform and inspire me. I am digging through the storage sheds, and attic looking around all the GI Joe stuff and Dragon Models and Sideshow sci fi and such trying to find my Apes. I think I have found most of them, but I seem to remember more Gorillas. AWOL Ape soldiers!
