It never gets old!:rock

This is why I would never be involved with anyone who owned snakes. :lol

Yeah, especially those ********* who keep pet pythons in their homes and release them into the woods because they get too big to handle. Then you hear on the news where one of those monsters swallowed a pet dog or something.

It seems like all the weirdo things happen in three places:

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Germany

BTW, I don't like snakes but I'm always glued to the TV when they have giant snake shows on Discovery, PBS or Animal Planet. There's just something disturbing, creepy and yet fascinating about an anaconda or boa feeding on a large mammal. It's just so gross to see the giant bulge in the middle of its tummy while digesting.

I saw some scorpions today picking up a locust for my tarantula. They looked massive up close , for some reason I always think of scorpions as small.

I love snakes.

I've never been glued to the tv by one before though. Might be fun. :)

I don't know any Marlin Perkins.

Ok update! So I was just getting in tonight and went to go pick up my kid out of his crib when I heard my wife scream in horror...yup we got movement! So I come downstairs and see my wife trying to catch her breath and compose herself after picking up an effing scorpion by the leg! She thought it was a leaf that blew in from the door, nope. So I killed the motherfrakker with a sandal and started to comb the living room with a blacklight. Ugh and he was near our shoes...I hate these things. :(

That's the kind I routinely kill in Vegas too, I don't have much mercy anymore. :angelsmil

I'm sorry you have to deal with this Deak, but I can't help but think that is one badass bug. If I'm ever reincarnated as a bug, I want to be a scorpion. No question.

I'd still end up squished, but it would be worth it up until that part.

Thanks Devil, but yeah they are kind of badass. I touched the dead one and noticed that its exoskeleton was pretty hard, almost like rock. no wonder these are a _ _ _ _ _ to kill.
