Let me go through my library...so Doggystyle you think? Or maybe the scorpions aren't fond of Slick Rick? I bet MA$E would scare them, he scares me. :monkey1

I get wind scorpions like this one (but much smaller) in my house all of the time. These things are fast. I read that they can move as fast as ten miles an hour. I pretty much doubt that...but I have seen them at escape velocity and they are fast!

I found this picture on the net. I have never seen one this big.

Those Sun spides are the same as what they call camel spiders.

Yeah...but camel spiders are a different bug. But there are a lot of critters that are mis-named as camel spiders. The same goes with vinegaroons and a few others.

Edit - I just looked it up...looks like it is the other spider that is mis-named.

Ohh and if you want to see a scary insect look up Tarantula Hawk.

WTF!!!!??? It looks like something out of the Mist.

~~When I was in Iraq I woke up one night to go to the bathroom and came back to find a scorpion like this about 2ft from where my head was gonna be. After that I tried to sleep on the hood of the trucks.

:horror:horrorOK....right there is reason enough to stay in Canada, them fackers wouldn't even make it through one of our summer nights up here.:banana:banana:banana

The Sun Spider/Wind Scorpion/Camel Spider (choose your moniker) is not venomous. But they pack a mean bite. They are a psuedo-scorpion. The two front legs are more like scorpion claws but are used like antennas. You should see close-ups of the jaws (I'll try to find a pic). There is a video on youtube showing one that is half the size of the one in that picture killing a mouse.
