Disappointing that there are only three new Star Wars reveals. I?ll consider getting the Luke. Obi-Wan and Anakin are a pass for me as I have the ROTS versions and haven?t watched The Clone Wars.

What a ripoff. 3 new figures? Even baze stayed at cons longer than padme. Is the hot toys booth tour later different, or will it be the same? What a letdown. I will get the 3 new figures, but wow... not good

Yeah, I want to eventually. Just haven’t gotten to it yet. I still don’t think I’ll collect figures though. If I did I’d likely only get key Clone characters like Cody and Rex.

Definitely. Was really surprised at the quality of writing, characters, and stories. Same for Rebels.

Meanwhile the first SSC reveals didn't blow me away; but they said there would be stuff all week. No Cara Dune reveal yet anyway. I might pick up Obi Wan. Mando and Child look amazing.

I really hope there is more to come. The stuff shown is pretty bad. Jango that should have come out years ago and Luke, Anakin, and Kenobi figures which I already own superior versions of. Pretty weak

It?s kuiiil or nothing from mandalorian for me. If they don't make him, I skip the whole line.

Marvel didn?t fare much better this year, 1 new figure shown.

Even the con exclusives were reworks of older figures.

Let?s hope HT is saving the showstoppers for later.

That rough looking Luke is probably at least 18 months away. Tomorrow my Endor Leia/Wicket set will be picked up, the last of the OT figures coming right now. I wonder if this will be what collecting 1/6 OT Star Wars will be like now, getting a new figure about once every two years.

I guess I can finally put my hobby money towards other stuff

Lazy display indeed. 4 "new " reveals from Hot Toys that are all Sideshow upgrades. Not too disappointed by Jango (finally getting a PO in his third year display?) or Luke but both TCW Anakin and Ob-Wan are real let down for a new line.

Starting with 3 figures already offered by Sideshow doesn't give much hope for a deep offer. As things stand, i have little hope we'll get anything truly new from TCW and we'll likely end up with Anakin, Obi-Wan and a bunch of clone repaints.

If you really want to see getting the step child treatmentioned look at DC. Nothing new and all stuff we've seen the past few years. Only thing new there is the Cosbaby stuff, which I think has very little appeal to most of us.

Actually even with the Marvel display is any of that stuff new? I feel like we've seen most of those.

Star Wars may actually be the only display with new items. Just nothing particularly exciting. Sounds like there will be more reveals later in the week. This is kind of like the first day of SDCC where not everything is set up yet. At least that's how it seems.
