Basically u can find a hotel room right now for about $425-$700 bucks a night....

If u can't afford it..then wait for the cluster ____ of CCI!

Money is not the issue, just knowing where to book. But I'm doing my research.

BG, Just book a hotel that is close to the train stops. You can get an okay hotel about 3-5 miles away but within 5-15 minutes of convention center for around 140-200 a night. I've stayed at a couple places, their okay, especially if you dont want to blow your cash wad on a hotel and rather save it the show and the evenings.

I'll PM you some reasonable prices I've found within 3-5 miles in good distance of the train.

i cxld my room in la jolla and was able to book at the marriott connected to the convention center...sure, it's more expensive but nothing about this trip is exactly cheap

I spent $20 at the Con last year and about $250 on food.

So paying for a nice hotel is worth it for me.

Every year I go on the cheap. I road trip it form Texas, stay in cheap hotels with a breakfast. Pack an ice chest for making sandwiches. When I get there I stay about thirty minutes away in a little beach town so I can hit the water, the local chow is cheap and rooms are like 100 a night. But thats me, I dont mind roughing it out a little.

Got this back from cc about picking up all individual tickets on Wednesday.
You cannot pick up all of the badges on one day. However, you can pick up the next's day badge after 4 p.m. on the current registration day.
