Got this back from cc about picking up all individual tickets on Wednesday.
You cannot pick up all of the badges on one day. However, you can pick up the next's day badge after 4 p.m. on the current registration day. For example, you may pick up Thursday's badge on Thursday morning and Friday's badge after 4 p.m. on Thursday. Sincerely, C. Edwards Comic-Con Registration

They are tools if they expect people to stand in line each day to get the next day's ticket. :slap

Better than doing it the day of. People that were forced to get singles instead of the 4 day at least have this option.

I need to cancel my singles since I was able to get a 4-day afterwards. How do you cancel? I don't want them to cancel the 4-day also. I'm wondering if there is any money to be made in scalping my singles for a few extra bucks and what that would take to get those, since they were all purchased under my name.

True, but they need to get off their high horse and just mail all the damn tickets out in advance like they did with Star Wars Celebration.

Scalpers would have a field day.

I know I just mentioned about scalping my extra tickets, but I only have those because the website was so wacked. if SDCC shipped tickets to people, I'm betting many would end up in scalpers hands and they woulld be going for $100+ a day.

Ordering was so bad this year, I could see people turn to scalpers if that continues in the future.

yeah i mean obviously this is going to be my first time going, and I dont know how it used to be but the whole process seems so unorganized. From tickets to getting your tickets to waiting in lines and what not...

Wait until you guys see the lines to get badges (admittedly not that bad with at least 100 windows), then the line to get in (LOL, can't believe I was at the front of that one so often in the past), then lines for panels, vendors, food, autographs, and even the crappy bathrooms. What a mess. Thinking of all that makes me miss CV...

I don't know how I'd handle going to say a Celebration with how much easier it appears to get around things compared to Comic-Con. Would probably feel like child's play. :lol

I'm really not looking forward to the long ass lines...waiting hours to go see a panel..and still wondering if you will get in on time.

Or trying to walk by all the tv/movie booths - you can hardly even move to get to the other side.

Yippy. :lol

Well the Acme booth for art was a real honest to goodness beesnatch. And I missed out on Lucas, but everything else was pretty cake. Yep. Even Hamill and Fisher.

@ Jen, I plan for all the smaller panels etc., never the big stuff, and it always makes things much more enjoyable. Avoid the movie area all together, and just enjoy talking to my favorite writers and artists. Oh, and multiple trips to Sideshow of course.

No joke. :lol I'm already figuring whatever day they do any Hobbit stuff just plan on camping out.

Those booths for the TV/Movies are just freaking stupid. You would think they could better spread them out or something so its not a giant cluster ____ right there.

Last year I tried for some smaller panels - got in line a little more than an hour early..thinking that would be enough...nope. :monkey2

Now if I go to panels - I only go to rooms that have several different panels I want to see and then I'll hang out there for awhile.

:exactly: Move artist alley up if you have to.

The easiest way would be to move either the artists or the shops selling comics and toys to a separate area and then make bigger aisles.

But then that would just give people more room to stand around in the middle of the way:slap

They also need to designate a photo area either snap a quick shot while moving or you need to move to area out of the way to take you posed shots.

I remember when I use to somewhat nice there, now I just walk right through pictures, run into people who arent watching where they walk etc...

This year I plan to be at all of the entertainment booths as I am taking the family. I will try for Hall H on Saturday but if not, oh well.

This year its about letting my family enjoying the experience and watching my kids faces light up at the phenomenon known as SDCC.
