We got hotel reservations back in November and even then it was hard to find something reasonable. i cant imagine how bad its going to be now... We didn't want to rent a car though, so we needed something walking distance to the convention center. That's obviously whats going to be the most expensive and sell out the fastest, so I'm sure there's still lots of stuff available if you don't mind being a little further away.

A couple years back there was 4 of us trying to get rooms and only 1 of us managed. You can take how the system ran for the badges and it will be at least 100x times worse.

Which is unfortunate because than 95% of all SDCC goers are probably ____ed. I assume I am in the majority that is in the same situation.

Yeah, it makes it hard for a good portion that is traveling out thats for sure. I would say yeah you have several folks with you that will be looking to get a room.

I am also among the crowd that will be trying to get a hotel room. $800 beats $1900 by a long shot.

Free beats paying! :lecture

I'm gonna be very curious to see who is successful in getting rooms this year. I hope, for all of your sakes, that the system works in your favor this year.

Here's hoping all freaks get the room they need. :hi5:

You guys are getting me all worried.

Yep, their system stinks, but with the overcrowding, I don't really see any alternative. Good luck.

I hope u get a room dude.

I hope we get a room... :wave :monkey1 :ccheerlea :moon :mwaha

Just keep hacking away at it when the day comes you'll get one but it may not be super close to the convention center but a room is better than none. Plus see who gets one and room up with someone would be cheaper.

Don't forget your plane tickets too! If you haven't looked into them yet i would recommend doing it soon. I just got mine through Southwest and the flights leaving San Diego Sunday the 24th are getting ridiculous, one of the morning flights was even sold out already. The only flights they had under $200 that day were after 3pm.

Good luck with the hotel situation too.
