Well, I have a smoking hot wife that also just wants to concentrate on the con, and doesn't care about shopping or site seeing while we're there. :p

Although, we will be going to Disneyland for 3 days before the con.

You and Mr. jasong both apparently.

I'm beginning to think I have missed the real purpose behind cramming 6 people into the same hotel room...

:dunno

Dude!! It's gonna be awesome!!! I'll be sure to draw a _____ with a Sharpie on ur face!!!

Bwwhhahahahahahaha!

Don't forget crack too.

Now if I can find some money to buy my flights. :(

I definitely feel that. I got raped by Uncle Sam this year with no regard for my pleasure or enjoyment. I'm flat broke right now. Plane tickets went on the credit card. FoSho.

There aren't many close to the convention center. I find it best to be staying very close, so that you can make trips back to your room to drop off swag and anything you have purchased quickly. Also at the end of the day , when you're dead tired, you don't have far to go or long to wait to get back to your room. I think that the farthest I will ever stay would be the Embassy Suites.

If you can afford and don't have any issues spending $500+ a night to be within a half mile, good for you. Me, going solo, don't want to spend more than ~$160 a night or less and staying 3 miles away works out great and affordable. Plus public transportation can be fun sometimes, especially during comiccon.
