Yeah, except for that new John Wayne, I guess Hot Toys will get most with some held over for when SFM and Triad get their stuff out.

There's a little bit there for everyone really.

Unless of course you like 1:6 and aren't collecting $tar War$. Then you're just left out.....again.

We have no idea what the mystery item is. So that could be another 1:6th item. There's a couple marvel, 1 t2, etc. SS covered several licenses. Pretty well rounded unless you wanted them to do like 12 items and include lines that don't sell much anymore.

Will do. I figuired myself it would be and once I see the pic I'll decide if I want the figure. I don't have any dead ones yet but I may after this SDCC.

Thats actually quite good as Hot Toys is giving quality 1:6 a much needed shot in the arm. $tar Bore$ is a bit off, it should actually be $tar Whore$.

As for the Connor bust, is that definitely 1:6? Could wind up being the best announced item if its head can be transplanted.

If SS has discontinues lines you love, that is sad. But don't stoop to the presumption that just because you like lines outside of LOTR/SW that it somehow negates every opinion Josh has. On the flip side, It doens't make your opinion any stronger or give it any more validity that your eyes "have been opened".

My world doesn't revolve soley around SW. I actually like LOTR more so As far as trusting SS they didn't lie. They would five the list of the items not reveal all of them.

Face it, $ide$how makes some good stuff but they are far from perfect. Hot Toy$ may have its share of criticism (likeness) but they are engineering amazing figures that are eclipsing $ide$how's efforts and you just don't want to accept it. Doesn't matter if you're not interested in their products, you have to admit that they are amazing. If you just want to be a Luca$ b*** and collect $tar War$ that's fine but there are a lot of other licenses here that have a devout following of collectors like POTA, LOTR, Aliens, Predator, and Terminator and we are passionate about the products that are being made (and not being made) for them so don't rub our noses in what $ideshow does for $tar War$ and how great it is when it doesn't apply to bigger scope of 1:6 collecting.

Devout? Are we breaking into religious factions now? If somebody has an opinion which differs from ours, does that give us permission to tear someone elses like/dislikes down?

Josh has stated time and time again that for what he wants out of a 1:6 figure Sideshow is on top... for him! Who cares if you think you have broader views on what is really the best in 1:6 and he is just stubborn and ignorant? What does it all matter? Some of you guys are sounding like toy-terrorists to me.

Its ok for you to like what you want. Why does it threaten you guys soo much that you feel like you need to go on the offensive everytime somebody says they love Star Wars or LOTR or Sideshow?

So in other words as long as I'm willing to agree with you that SS doesn't make the best stuff I'm being open minded? I can't have my OWN opinion on the fact that IMO SS makes the best products on the market. That's the way I feel. I'm not gonna be sorry for that. If I have to take heat for it then so be it but I feel SS is the best and everyone is runs a cloes second. As far as being able to take criticism I let plenty go. About the only time I say something is when someone says SS makes crappy products (something to that effect). Other than that I roll with whats said but if I don't agree I will say something as I have the right to last time I checked. I've not said Hot Toys makes crap products (not seriously meaning it anyways).

I don't feel they're eclipsing SS in anyway. Does that make it so not really but that doesn't make me wrong because I feel SS is the best. I don't have to accept it to be open minded. HT, Medicom, etc make a nice product some of it which I buy but I don't think it's better than what SS turns out. I like LOTR a hell of a lot more than I do SW so I'm waiting like the rest of you for that line to pick up. So I'm not all about SW. As far as admiting anything the only thing I have to admit is that I like SS LOTR and SW lines and that IMO they're the best that's it.

If you feel differently than that's great but I don't have to agree with you. The sooner others understand that the sooner you guys can quit busting my balls.

$ide$how isn't the only one in the 1:6 market as Hot Toy$ has quickly overtaken them as the leader in this area. They raised the bar and now they are setting the standard by which all licenses are being compared to.

Yes, each group or "faction" i.e. Apes, Kurgans, Aliens, Predators, Terminator, LOTR has a "devout" following of passionate collectors. When someone like Josh constantly disses what we like we are inclined to defend our love for these licenses.

Maybe because the rest of us are feeling neglected by $ide$how when it's not $tar War$. LOTR has been pretty neglected by it as well so I sympathize with them.

When have I ever constantly dissed them? NEVER!! I don't care for the Apes line but don't recall dissing it, Kurgans I just like to mess with (as in JOKING), Aliens, Predator, and Terminator are all ok with me but nothing I collect. Don't recall dissing any of them. I'm sure as hell not gonna diss LOTR as it's my #1 Fave line of all time.

And that's the problem I'm getting at here. It's either Josh's way or else.

I personally think the exclusives are great this year.

Spidey- already knew about, could have been a regular release, but oh well.
?- Dead figure obviously now, awesome as always.
Weapon X - nice addition to the marvel archives.
Conner bust - great choice since it was seen for 3 seconds in the movie.
BHS- not a fan of the line, but a nice exclusive for those that are.
Holo Sidious - fantasticly different and a cool item. Makes Anakin's exclusive pretty pointless now. Will go great with Darth Maul.

I don't use the Krusade as an excuse to tear people down. I think most people in the Krusade would agree with that. Its all fun. Do I really hate people who don't want a Kurgan made? Do I really want to chop off their heads?

Nope. Its all in fun. You remember fun, don't you? Its the reason why were all here. But what you and a few others are doing is not for fun. Seems tinged with a bitter sour expression which really isn't needed on the boards.
