Awesome news! I hope Mitch Pillegi is available to reprise Skinner, it's a minor role, but I always enjoyed the character. They also need Mark Snow back to score it, he IS X-Files music.

Awesome News! personally I really wanted a continuation of the conspiracy storyline but I'll settle for anything X-Files.

Hopefully this will reinvigerate Sideshow's 12" line. We really need the Gunmen, Reyes, Alien Bounty Hunter, Mr. X, Knowle Rohrer, and maybe they'll find a way to make Flukeman and a Grey Alien!

I still think the Gray Alien would be a huge seller, whenever they get Hot Toys to make a child body, it shouldn't be too difficult.

What is Mitch Pileggi doing that would result in him turning down an offer to be in an "X-Files" movie?

I think it's a pretty safe bet that he'll be in the movie, and if the rumors are true about it taking place in season 7 I'm sure every other castmember would be more than happy to return.

Duchovny is the only one who is arguably in a position to turn the role down because he's currently starring in a successful television series but none of the other castmembers have anything better to do.

I mean, do you really think Mitch Pileggi really has any other chance of appearing in a major motion picture?

A quick IMDb search shows he's still doing a lot of tv work. But I have to admit, I haven't seen him in anything lately.

I'm hoping he can fit the movie into his schedule.

Me too, I think he's a good actor and AD Skinner is a nice compliment to Mulder and Scully, I hated when Director Kirsch became more prominent than Skinner, that guy sucked.

I always thought he was an important part of the show. And I forgot all about Kirsch. Actually, I forgot a lot about the last two seasons.
