I agree across the board, however once we leave the paper it's been pretty weak for the 'Verse.

With the way things are going for Sideshow's 1/6th lines, no I don't want them to get the license. If Lord of the Rings can't make it, I don't think Serenity has much chance.

It's a 1/6 scale bust of our Big Damn Captain available from Razor's Edge Collectables. I have one and was happily surprised at how much better to looks in RL(except for his odd eyebrows). Check out Michael Crawford's review for more pics

I was happy with the Mal too. I think it sold really poorly though. I doubt there will be future additions to the line.

Ok a few things here. These maquetes are based on one artists style. The series "Little Damn Heroes" has been a concept for sometime for anyone who has ever been to the browncoast booth at SDCC. That being said I love them and I have Kaylee right next to my mal bust and my Dark Horse mini model ships.

Also Sideshow has flat out said no way to the licence time and time again. I dont think we will ever see it over there

There's a cute factor to the "Little Damn Heroe" look, but thats because they harken to childish toys. These would be excellent as Playmobile toys...but as statues and especially as expensive as they are...they miss that childish point completely, IMO.

huh. That's a great point, and I never would have thought of it that way. If these were Galactic Heroes-type or Paymobile toys I would probably be much more open to the concept.

These "Little Damn Heroes" things aren't that bad, however, as its been said time and time again: WE NEED FIGURES. But if Sideshow won't make em, who will?

I kind of like how the Kailee turned out. It's not my thing but at least it looks like her.

The Mal one doesn't look like him at all. I know it's a stylized look but it should at least be reminiscent of the character's look. I think the artist failed on this one.
